What causes the most arguments in your relationship?

Just interested what it's like for other people.

We argue most about me thinking that dh doesn't give me enough attention.
That sounds a bit childish though, doesn't it?
We never argue about money, which I'm very glad about.

When I was working we used to argue about who does what around the house, but that stopped with me being a SAHM. Dh helps a lot with the children side of things, I do all the cooking and washing and we have a cleaner. So it somehow stopped being an issue, but could start again if and when I go back to work.

I nearly slept on the couch last night over the central heating being on during the day.. we dont have double glazing, apparently if im cold i should DO more!

uneven distribution of childcare/housework when we are both off work at the same time

navigation and sense of direction. my dh can't seem to keep a map in his head and it drives me nuts! he also has a very blase attitude to getting somewhere we've never been before. example: we were driving up to bolton for a friend's wedding. i asked him if he knew where he was going. he said "oh, general direction of manchester isn't it?" i said, "well, yes, but then what?" he said, "oh, i hadn't thought that far ahead."

sorry to rant on, but it really winds me up. then i feel unreasonable.

it's about the only thing we do argue about (except the heating thing) so i suppose i should count myself lucky really...

recently nearly got divorced over presure to do with mortgage - and getting one

usually all in one argument.

We argue about the fact that he feels he needs a long lie in every Sat and Sun because he "works so hard". I also work out of the home 3 long days a week with a long commute into London.
The other 4 days are full of childcare, housework, garden and everything else that needs doing. I got up at 7.30am yesterday with our DDs
DH emerged at 11.00 and then went to the gym .

I'm sure you won't read all the thread but can I just say I posted in a lighthearted way and was more bothered that that is all she had to eat, rather than WHAT it was.

Thats about it really we don't row much.

Another one for the uneven childcare in the mornings. At the weekend I nearly always get up with the children and he surfaces several hours later. Even during the week I get up get kids ready fed etc and he surfaces just in time to cadge a lift to the tube station on the school run.

Sandyballs - I'd have locked him out and gone on washing/drying/ironing strike of his clothes.
