As always I'm hopeless and can't link properly to my old thread Work stress? Err I don't think so mate'

Thank you everyone for finishing off the last thread- glad to be starting afresh actually! I did have a little chuckle about Greg the plumber (Phwoar!!) thanks H for the suggestion - us at Mumsnet ran with it and he sounds like my dream man haha!

Anyway - I'm upstairs as usual avoiding going down and seeing old King of the Castle in his throne. He came up half an hour ago in the hope of 'some action' but was told to bugger off - he's manageable at the moment because all of a sudden it's him who's 'scared to rock the boat' and keeps telling me how grateful if he is to have been allowed back - yack! (You didn't give me a lot of choice H though did you? You played every emotional card in your pack and then literally forced your way in!)

Anyway - I'm feeling strong, seeing the police tomorrow - and action plan will be in place!

Very glad you can get rid of solicitor 1 and transfer everything over to rotty. Just a tad concerned solicitor 1 might put her mediator hat on and feel she needs to let H know of the switch because it would surely burst his current bubble when he realises you are serious about going ahead. I don't really know how these things work and hope I'm just nitpicking..... just questioning her professionalism, I suppose.

Thanks Jux, I might just do - when I spoke to solicitor 1 she really had to 'tell' me that she agreed with me moving as I will get legal aid for the non mol with Rotty and that before she had gone on holiday she had 'decided' that i wasn't eligible for a non mol, but now agrees that I am....and good luck!! whatever, she really made sure she had the last word, almost like the call was being recorded and she didn't look bad for losing a client.

Oh Beyond I am going to enjoy that so much! Anyway, I have felt joyous tonight - H isn't around which as always is bloody lovely! I've been chatting with a girl from the FP tonight, she's lovely although her situation is that the restraining order she got hasn't worked and so she has to go back to court these bastards, honestly. Looks like we'll be going for a FP drinks night out soon though which will be great!
