BoldFossil · 23/09/2014 18:16

I wouldnt be able to stand the pain

Also, does the waxer wax your outer labia? Lord alive on a bike, i cant imaginw the pain. I wince when i have my legs waxed.

BlueBrightBlue · 23/09/2014 20:32

AnyFucker, have you actually met any Italian decorators?

AnyFucker · 23/09/2014 21:01

That would be a no Smile

holdyourown · 23/09/2014 21:53

it's a way to make money, innit. Create insecurities, create a market (for waxing and hair removing items etc) and bingo £££
Same as anti wrinkle creams and the like.
Aim is to keep people feeling insecure so they spend.
meh

BlueBrightBlue · 23/09/2014 22:13

Spoilsport, was going to get mine ombred( just the last 3 inches lightened)

MerryMarigold · 23/09/2014 22:28

Is that like a dip dye, blue?

CarryOn90 · 23/09/2014 22:31

Honestly no idea any more about pubic hair

I first shaved mine when I was about 12 for convenience (warning TMI - v heavy periods and it got a bit gross) but I'm very open to the fact that I've probably unconsciously been conditioned by magazines, porn etc.

I actually feel really really hideous and unsexy if I haven't shaved everything off. I realise this is totally ridiculous and I completely resent it. I'm kind of trying to train myself out of it but i just feel hideous. Definitely wouldn't let anybody touch me down there. I'm fully aware that the media has probably conditioned me somehow to think this (hope that doesn't sound super dramatic but I can't think why else - I've never cared about boyfriends preferences etc)

I was thinking about growing them out and dying them pink in an attempt to learn to love them Grin

BlueBrightBlue · 23/09/2014 22:37

MerryMarigold , yes, did a home dye last time and blistered my beef curtains; not a good look.

MerryMarigold · 23/09/2014 22:44

I've got loads of whites, so it may be quite a fetching effect if I got the red dye out anyways, always have sex with the light out.

BlueBrightBlue · 23/09/2014 22:54

No, just tell him you've had it " frosted" .
( like he'd be looking at the mantle piece while stoking the fire)

BuggersMuddle · 23/09/2014 23:27

OP if he's anything other than delighted to be there, he's an arse IMO. Unless you are quite exceptionally hairy, I don't see the problem. I do not tidy unless I am likely to exhibit a pube on the beach / in the pool.

If it would make you feel better, have a little tidy up, but I really wouldn't worry about style / fashion.

Just showed DP the Burt Reynolds picture. He responded by telling me he was clearly born 30 years too late Grin

LoisPuddingLane · 24/09/2014 06:35

I love that Burt Reynolds picture. I realise I might be the only living person who does.

AnyFucker · 24/09/2014 07:39

I said there was nothing wrong with it (that some statins couldn't control....)

ChippingInLatteLover · 24/09/2014 13:08

Oh AF it's definitely moist - best thing about it.

Mugg1ns · 24/09/2014 13:52

It must take some courage to march into a beauticians and ask to have a stranger remove the hair from ones genitals. For many people showing their doctor is scary enough.

BlueBrightBlue · 24/09/2014 14:30

I once had this treatment, never again.

jadey101 · 24/09/2014 14:39

Ha ha brilliant BrightBlue!

Is it common for women to remove their hair arm? Does anyone here do it? I really foolishly did at about age 14 as I have really dark hair and hated my arm hair. I immediately regretted this and had weeks of covering up my spiky arm hair. Blush

Is the pic for full face waxing? Sounds unpleasant. I get my full face threading done once a fortnight though, love it. I have an awfully noticeable 'stache that I used to get mercilessly bullied about, and bad sideburns too. I would never give up my full face threading!

LoisPuddingLane · 24/09/2014 14:42

I had a date with a man who lived most of his time dressed as a woman. He was far more "feminine" than me. When I said goodbye I touched his arm and met with a load of stubble. Do not shave your arms!

BlueBrightBlue · 24/09/2014 14:43

I had the " Bikkni From", not really, just love the typos.
Yes here you can have anything waxed; full body for as little as £22.

An ex describing having her bikini line waxed sounded embarrassing enough to me. The thought of hot wax being put on and someone pulling the hair out anywhere near delicate bits makes my eyes water.

MerryMarigold · 24/09/2014 16:19

HB, I was in tears with the top inch of my bikini line, which is basically over bone - not even near the sensitive bits!

GhettoFabulous · 24/09/2014 17:23

Can I refute the idea that "most people" prefer their partner bare for oral? I've been sexually active for thirty years and have never found it difficult to find men to go down on me. Some positively reveled in my hair and sang its praises. And I prefer a full bush on a lover.

LoisPuddingLane · 24/09/2014 20:54

Yay! BUSH!
