Congratulations on a thoroughly well deserved result Wine

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/03/2015 17:54

Can someone explain it to me? I'm not usually this thick.

Bogeyface · 26/03/2015 17:55

I wonder how long Pauline will be prepared to give him house room now on the basis that they are both about to go bankrupt! Presumably she thought that he would get a nice cash settlement for the house that she could piss away into yet another failed business venture!

Now neither of them have any money I predict a break up and a grovelling "Can I come back please?" within 3 months!

inlectorecumbit · 26/03/2015 17:56

OMG couldn't log on all day so have just caught up.
Bloody brilliant the pair of you. Oh how l wish l could be a fly on the wall in Pauline's house tonight. I bet they are shocked and stunned. What a prize Pauline has won. A homeless work shy bankrupt ..
WWk and MRSC l salute you both.

Permission granted for you BOTH to get steaming---just make sure the small DC is in bed first. Star Star Star Star Star Star Star Star

Bogeyface · 26/03/2015 17:58

Fluffy the house being in joint names meant that if MrWT declared bankruptcy it would have been seized and sold to pay his debts, thus leaving MrsC homeless. To avoid this the house has been awarded to MrsC so any creditors can not claim on the house as he no longer has any interest in it.

He claimed bankruptcy to avoid having to pay MrsC anything (probably a plan cooked up by Pauline) and it had the exact opposite effect because the judge awarded her everything!

chicshadow · 26/03/2015 18:19

I've actually just registered so I could delurk and comment- you are both absolutely amazing, well done MrsC, what a fantastic well deserved result!!

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/03/2015 18:25

Oh I see. So Pauline isn't a rich business woman then?.

Well done op! Thanks Bogey

Moreshabbythanchic · 26/03/2015 18:30

Well done both of you and pineapple, a truly fitting end to a nightmare. Enjoy your well deserved bubbly and I'll join you in a toast to your new and happy life Wine.

LadyTmalia · 26/03/2015 18:30

Ha I am awed, well done MrsC and WWK :)

NettleTea · 26/03/2015 18:30

It just goes to show that there are some bloody good judges out there who can see right through a stupid person's attempt to 'be clever' in order to avoid facing up to their responsibilities, and came come out with a leftfield suggestion that allows the stupid person 'their' request, whilst making sure the child is at the front of all decisions.

And it also shows just how awful Mr WT is - he would willingly give up any equity in his home to attempt to prevent Mrs C and son having anything. How bitter and twisted is that, especially considering it was HIM who left and HIM who shacked up with a revolting OW.

The two of them must be reeling at how their plan has so badly backfired. Whether OW's accounts are true or not, Mr TW literally is coming to the table with nothing to offer now.

pointythings · 26/03/2015 18:34

I have just scared my entire family with my whoop of glee at this outcome - fan-fucking-tastic!!!!

Wine for both of you, and I am just wishing we had a [pineapple] emoticon.

Bogeyface · 26/03/2015 18:41

Fluffy doesnt look like it, which is probably why she didnt want to disclose. Not because she had millions that she didnt want MrsC to get her hands on but because it would make it perfectly obvious that she was sitting atop a house of cards!

Nameforposting · 26/03/2015 18:45

Another DeLurker who has followed your journey from the start.

MrsC, I have been in awe of both your strength and your gentleness of spirit. I'm so pleased at this outcome, you deserve nothing but happiness.

WWK, you are an inspiration, I would consider myself truly blessed if I had a friend like you.

Another delurker here, I haven't posted before as I haven't had anything useful to add, but WOW what a fantastic result, you must be so relieved, well done both of you!

paddlenorapaddle · 26/03/2015 18:55

Delurking to throw popcorn and whoot from the cheap seats

WellWhoKnew · 26/03/2015 18:57

MrsC has been an absolute rock to me during my own divorce. I am very honoured to have had the opportunity to do my small part to assist this formidable woman achieve what she has today. She has two lovely children, a huge heart, and a great sense of fun and humour.

There have been so many times, whilst I was dealing with my own hell, that I used to listen to her strife and think "There but for the grace of God"...

The 'malicious communication' that got him arrested is by far and away, quite frankly, the worst thing I have ever read in my life. It left me stunned and speechless. No one should ever have to read that sort of thing. I am glad today I got to speak to that man and see him made inferior.

MissDexter · 26/03/2015 18:58

Delurking to say that you two ladies are the epitome of awesomeness! Wine

Anniegetyourgun · 26/03/2015 19:10

When you write that book then, it's got to have a title something like - trying to think of a way it won't sound like trash porn - "The Legal Adventures of Two Women and a Pineapple"?

Am guessing DJ (may his pineapple never wither) may have some experience or at least a lot of observation concerning autism and it struck a nerve.

No doubt Pauline can attempt to recover her costs by selling several horses, cars and a nearly-new, slightly scuffed quad bike. First good offer will also receive a free stout ageing handyman.

hackneyzoo · 26/03/2015 19:10

You two rock! Wine Star Flowers

FeckTheMagicDragon · 26/03/2015 19:11
