Seeing as thread 65 is now full.

Nothing to report here. I'm still in almost daily contact with MrK but due to his work was not able to meet this weekend. We're hoping to arrange something for this coming weekend, so fingers crossed. I keep reminding myself that every-other weekend is fine, but it just seems such a long wait in between Sad

Seeing as I'm trying to keep my cool and my plan was only for something casual, I'm still looking for more dates. But there's no-one I like online at the moment [sigh]

INDEED!!!!

And what is it with them and sending dick selfies, I'm REALLY baffled, some of them have NO BUSINESS taking dick selfies?!?!?! PUT IT AWAY and and and with tears in my eyes, WHY would you send a complete stranger that????? They really need to revisit lesson 101 on how to woo a woman!

May the fleas of a thousand camels invade the crotch of the person that ruins our day with a dick selfie, and may their arms be to short too scratch

LiesDamnLiesandStatistics · 30/12/2013 19:11

Actually laughing out loud Master

I do hope their arms are too short to scratch too....Grin

kscience · 30/12/2013 19:13

Wot Master said jumping up and down and waving pompoms

Bant · 30/12/2013 19:14

Yeah, I don't have to put up with the knobshots, at least.

Small mercies, and all that

LiesDamnLiesandStatistics · 30/12/2013 19:15

I reckon we can start our own little website to post all the dick pics we have been sent...
We can call it "Dicks who Date", although I'm sure someone can come up with something better...

Bant - what's the female equivalent of a dick pic???? Dying to know!!

Santaclaws · 30/12/2013 19:19

He's txt saying "sorry I really like you he didn't intend to use or hurt me he just wants to be happy with someone who wants him for him. And he thinks we could be a strong couple and given a chance we could be good"

I said " you don't know me to say we could be a strong couple. Sort your life out first or nothing will ever work out for you"

Santaclaws · 30/12/2013 19:20

Grin at masterpo

Santaclaws · 30/12/2013 19:21

Hahaha at "dicks who date"

kscience · 30/12/2013 19:26

Bant I can well believe it. I have some male friends who are treated badly by their DWs/OHs and I am appalled sometimes. No these men do not come running to me I have seen it (and pulled up on it my friends who do this to their long suffering OHs)

Gosh I sound like a right old busy body

OneDayWhenIGrowUp · 30/12/2013 19:27

Dicks who date lol

Sigh, thought I was messaging with a reasonable intelligent person, comiserating each other on how POF is full of weirdos.....then he asks me what I do. Erm, I've written quite a bit about my job in my profile. FFS.

OneDayWhenIGrowUp · 30/12/2013 19:28

Another reply from dimples. He said he'd really enjoyed our dates. Ah well, at least I'll be at the back of his mind should his new relationship go belly up!

LiesDamnLiesandStatistics · 30/12/2013 19:39

Well said Santa You. Are. Worth. It.

In everyone's experience is the quality low on dating sites this time of the year? What is with people not even looking at key information on a profile? Photo. Check. Message....

girliefriend · 30/12/2013 19:44

Oh Santa that is so shit - what an idiot. I wouldn't even waste a text on him tbh, his poor wife though - knobby knob head!

Grin at PO and Dicks who Date.

I once had a guy send me a completely naked photo, his message was 'like what you see?'

Hmm Err not really, unless you want me to see a complete knobhead in which case it's a pretty good likeness....

WTAF in wrong with people!!

kscience · 30/12/2013 19:46

....is wondering to herself how easy it would be to startt up a dating website

Penis pics = banned (no fees returned)
Dump by silence = 1st offense 1 month slap on wrist and written warning attached to profile
Married/attached = banned
General idiot/game player = banned
Pics not your own = banned
Obscene offers = banned
Not reading posts and multiple messaging people who obviusly you do not fit their profile = slip on wrist with written warning attached to profile

Must pass literacy test before joining

LiesDamnLiesandStatistics · 30/12/2013 19:51

Yes Yes kscience
Can I also add:

Pics ten years old = banned
Lying about your age = slap on wrist with warning attached to profile
Complete bollox profile that bears no resemblance to you or your actual life = lifetime ban

Santaclaws · 30/12/2013 19:55

kscience And lies Grin laughing out loud at your posts about the dating sites

Bant · 30/12/2013 20:02

Strange how themes can reoccur on here. About 50 Threads ago (18 months or so) there was a knobshot forum set up for sharing pictures sent to people on here.

And a year ago I mooted the possibility of setting up EthicalDating.com with things like date-feedback, dump by silence penalty, no sweet-trolleying all that stuff. I could have been a billionaire if I'd been arsed to set it up (and you know, didn't already have a job and stuff)

OneDayWhenIGrowUp · 30/12/2013 20:04

So what's everyone up to for new years then?

I'm off out to a bar party with a few friends, I think everyone is coupled-up, apart from one other recently single girl. She will be my date for the evening!

LiesDamnLiesandStatistics · 30/12/2013 20:05

Bant what's sweet-trolleying??

kscience · 30/12/2013 20:07

See Bant nothing new under the sun

OneDay.... trying to decide if I want to go to do with senior people from work who I hardly know (I am wayyyy junior, but invited by BIG BOSS for horsey reasons), go 40 miles to could be quite raucous or 60miles and all people my age coupled up and their kids

Or just stay home

Bant · 30/12/2013 20:12

Sweet trolley syndrome - similar to sweet shop syndrome where there's so much on offer you find it difficult to choose, but with the sweet trolley you're actually dating someone, but keep glancing back at the profiles on display - you've got a lovely slice of lemon drizzle cake in front of you, but maybe you fancy something a bit more like trifle, or chocolate fudgecake, or cheesecake - so you drop what you've got to try something else out.

If you meet someone in real life, you don't have that constant array of other possibilities on offer. OD is a great way of meeting new people, but those people will still be looking at the sites unless things go fantastically well.

girliefriend · 30/12/2013 20:18

For pretty much the first time ever i will have a bloke to share new yr with!!

He has booked a meal, followed by a disco (I know..) and fireworks and I will be spending the night at his for the first time which is slightly scary!!

LiesDamnLiesandStatistics · 30/12/2013 20:18

Ah I get it!! How I wish I could meet someone in real life!

Santaclaws · 30/12/2013 20:25

lies I met a man in real life and it was at work. I felt for sure I was safe, surely nobody who was married or attached would ask me out in that situation. Yet hey ho unbelievably he had the nerve

Bant · 30/12/2013 20:27

note: the post above is in no way a recommendation of actually dating pieces of food. While I understand people have different things which turn their crank, I think that kind of relationship just gets messy after a while.

'Sitophilia', incidentally. Deriving sexual pleasure from food.
