I put a question up on one of the other forums and one of the things that struck me was the range of numbers people said they had previously been with. This isnt meant to be a thread for judgements or arguments, but I was wondering what people's number of sexual partners is. And whether your OH knows this. If you read my other thread you will know why I am asking.

I stopped counting at 50. If DP asked I'd probably tell him but he never has, it's not an issue.

Oh and DP has a good idea that its quite alot, it worries him I've had more partners than him. Though I don't think we ever discussed the actual number.

Dh is number 10, he knows I think, his is around the same. I used to worry about it. Now I'm settled I wish I'd had more fun!

Btw I'm his 2nd, I don't think it bothers him that I've slept with (a few) more.

I'm very happy with my number. I don't wish it was more or less.

I have never asked any man I've been involved with what their number was, nor have I been asked mine. I think most have been higher than me (on the basis a lot of them were having sex at 15/16 whereas I didn't start til my 20s) but really I don't think it matters, what's past is past etc.

Single figures for me. DH doesn't know the exact figure, nor has he shown any interest. I don't know his "magic number", nor do I want to. I don't think it's very high.

Dp not interested and doesn't ask. Very much past is past etc...I quizzed him and know he is way over 100 (including group situations) and it has driven me mad and caused problems. Really wish I'd never probed him now. Ive been no saint and had a few promiscuous years at uni. He was single for over half his twenties.

honestly can't remember it seems a long time ago now. pretty sure it was 15 or more, most shags rather than relationships. DH was in my life as a friend while all that was happening so he certainly knows!

I think about 15 -20. It's so long ago now! DH is about the same I would have thought although we haven't discussed it. We met in our 40s and I had been married before, and he in a ltr.

I've always thought I was about average.

My number is about 16 I think - I actually made a conscious effort to stop counting as I felt a bit bad about it. I think DP's number is about 3 but there may be more.

I was with only boyfriend from 17 from 10 years and then I made up for lost time!

Quite a few. It sounds really bad but i don't actually know! In all honestly i have quite bad memory problems as a result of a head injury......i just counted up to 15 but i KNOW its more like 35!! DH ....well i think his is between 1 and 4.

I used to think like that eliza, but it isn't important any more. I was 20 when I met OH and knew straight away that he was "the one". I am still with OH nearly 35 years later and we are very happy with each other.
