Uh Oh, 48

Snapespeare · 29/03/2013 17:24

velvet my mental image of where you are could pass as a 'frankie goes to Hollywood' video.

48howdidthathappen · 29/03/2013 17:25

I wish Mr R&R was here. He knew we were going to meet up sometime. I can't really text him about it though, when he is 200 miles away.

KinNora · 29/03/2013 17:26

Oh bloody hell, 48, that's a bit of a worry.

OhWesternWind · 29/03/2013 17:51

48 are you sure about doing this?

48howdidthathappen · 29/03/2013 17:56

I think so OWW I would never do anything behind someones back. We are meeting in a pub. I am driving so no drinking.

It just feels like unfinished business.

OhWesternWind · 29/03/2013 17:59

No, I know you wouldn't, but it will make things so difficult for you to know what to do if you find you still have feelings for Mr Oz.

48howdidthathappen · 29/03/2013 18:03

I need to know if I do. Don't want to live with a 'what if'.

48howdidthathappen · 29/03/2013 18:07

I get butterflies every time I am going to see Mr R&R. First time in my life. I just want to be sure.

KinNora · 29/03/2013 18:16

If you feel you have to do it for your own peace of mind, then you have to do it 48.

KinNora · 29/03/2013 18:18

But I would make very sure that Mr Oz knows that you and Mr R&R love each other. Mr R&R is a good un.

48howdidthathappen · 29/03/2013 18:21

Of course kin I have to tell Mr OZ that to his face. The only decent thing to do.

JulietteMontague · 29/03/2013 18:26

48 why did you think t would be different with him, you parted for reasons of geography not because you didn't get on. Don't be thrown by that, you are still the same people and it's like that side has been suspended. I would go, use the absence of Mr R&R to have some thinking time and reflect.

But, if you are tempted to snog his face off or more and intend to be honest about it, you cannot expect Mr R&R to accept it. He has already accepted quite a lot (bless) and bear in mind that that could be a step too far. The thing to think is, how would you feel if you never saw Mr R&R again? never had your laughs together, never had the great sex, nothing. You've already had that with Mr Oz although you knew he would be back so there is some comparison.

VelvetSpoon · 29/03/2013 18:34

48 I guess you do what you have to do?...so long as you are honest I'm sure all will work out.

Am having an odd time. Nuch reminded of uni where I was never quite pretty/ posh enough to be girlfriend material. Plus ca change etc. Still missing C a ridiculous amount.

TigsytheTiger · 29/03/2013 18:39

Oooh 48 is it wrong that I feel protective of Mr R&R?? I know you need to see Mr Oz to remove the what if question, but I am a big fan of Mr R&R!

JulietteMontague · 29/03/2013 18:42

btw I speak as someone who was in a similar situation and almost blew a great relationship with the fantasy of the ex. If the then bf had known what I did he would have finished it, to this day it scares me what I nearly did.

JulietteMontague · 29/03/2013 18:43

Velvet get it down your neck and flirt your stockings off Grin

VelvetSpoon · 29/03/2013 18:51

Ahh juliette its pointless...they all have gfs posher and prettier than me by a mile.

I'm just a half-arsed TOWIE reject. Sad but true etc.

KinNora · 29/03/2013 18:51

I think Mr R&R has much in common with Buffy, in that he has quite a fan club going and no detractors.

KinNora · 29/03/2013 18:54

Velvet Spoon enough of that ! 'posher and prettier' ?- big whup, you're you, get flirting, the thread demands it !

JulietteMontague · 29/03/2013 19:04

Velvet you are pretty and more to the point vair glam. Posher, meh. I see Lin's beaten me to it but enough with the 'I'm not good enough' bollocks*, you are fab.

*Remember there is a carp on standbye, which would be embarrassing.

OhWesternWind · 29/03/2013 19:10

The exciting plan for tonight chez Western is bath (imminent), drink (already on the case) and a bit of nice messaging. Got one waiting for me from Mr Cake - cant read it on my phone but will have a look once children are in bed. Also got a slightly formal but very nice guy saying sweet things about me so will see what happens there - he's only been on for three weeks and had two bad dates so I might nab him before he gets corrupted!

JulietteMontague · 29/03/2013 19:12

Just found out a man who seemed reasonable on POF has a Sciilian mother. That couldn't be worse. I have history with Italian mother syndrome, even the Northern Italian version. With the last Italian I dated I not so subtly asked after his mother's health, she was no more but still managed to live on in his memory Confused

JulietteMontague · 29/03/2013 19:18

Sicilian. I excelled myself there.

KinNora · 29/03/2013 19:45

Will he take it the wrong way if you ask if he has mother ishoos before you invest any more time in him ? ( I'm thinking the answer might be a big fat 'yes' )
