Morning mini Thank you too Grin

I'm 2 weeks ( or 4 weeks themidwife will tell us-due on yesterday-had big norty sex and did the Maud Lebowski thing 2 weeks ago)

I just knew on Saturday-felt woozy and kept weeing Grin.

I knew first time too. Odd.

So sorry about your migraine mini. That stinks.

Surely the family can stop the LCP from happening? We did with my gran.

What is the benefit for the hospital? Why the targets and bonuses? Is it because it is cheaper?

I'm afraid I just can't think of such dark things.

I always knew within days - gagging when brushing back teeth & a metallic taste in my mouth! Them hormones are pretty powerful aren't they?! Wink

What's the difference between the LCP & other end of life care? I watched my Nan die & it took about 19 hours after being resuscitated by paramedics in her nursing home after a cardiac arrest despite being bloody 96 at the time. It was endlessly gruelling. I refused any care but it just seemed cruel that she kept self resuscitating after going blue & then gasping after what seemed ages! I wished she could have been given something pleasant to send her on her way quicker. Sad

God themidwife that sounds horrendous. Sad I'm so sorry. I'm not sure either what the difference is but I think (but am probably wrong) it involves withdrawing. food and drink. This is what we wouldn't allow to happen to my gran although the words Liverpool Care Pathway weren't used to my knowledge.

I didn't have any sickness but remember the teethbrushing gags! one meal made me feel really queasy Hmm

I am feeling really crap. Migraine is lurking in the background and some work stuff going on that is really pressing my buttons. I def need that hot choc. With Brandy.

Report
themidwife · 15/04/2013 16:21

Ooh mini - doesn't chocolate and brandy make your migraine worse?

Report
Minimammoth · 15/04/2013 17:00

Yes it would I am sure. Everything is too bright and shiny. I am working this evening and have to be all calm, positive and smiley.

I think you are right themidwife, have done my stint, but brought the migraine on full. Aura and the works. I am cancelling tomorrow, as I know it can go on for days. Skype meetings and stress is not what I need. Am off to take codeine and join sdad in befuddlement.
