This is a thread for women who unexpectedly (or not) find themselves attracted to another woman.

*yet another person

MagsAloof · 15/04/2012 12:18

I'm usually attracted to straight women, unfortunately Grin

KD Lang does nothing fr me, although I admire her. Mary Portas is attractive. but too bossy and barking (as in shouty, not mad). The only 'out' lesbian I can think of that I find attractive is Ellen, just because show is so adorably cute and I just want to cuddle her Grin.

I tend to like young-ish, straight 'tomboy' types but not 'masculine', iyswim. Happily married to a man for years. though, so God knows why I am wittering on about this Wink

Mags same with me, can't think of anyone in public eye and 'out' who i fancy (not that I fancy many straight women either), I don't salivate over Mary, but I find her attractive to look at , and she's passionate which is also attractive, as opposed to androgynous types (for some reason in RL lesbian couples you see out and about do tend to go for androgynous, very short hair look that does nothing to me, also masny seem to be completely in their shell and 'neutral' or something - I like character), I do like Mary's hair!

likeatonneofbricks · 15/04/2012 12:35

my wiq is a strange combo of tomboy and graceful/light. She's a chameleon too - can dress very ladylike, makeup, jewellery, and on other days like a boy and no makeup and even hair morphs into more casual/(longer)boyish. Not boting though!

likeatonneofbricks · 15/04/2012 12:35

*not boring

Loveisthemessage · 15/04/2012 13:51

Sounds like most women on this thread are into personality and connection over looks, but...the most attractive and feminine looking gay (albeit celeb) couple I can think of are Amber Heard and Tasya Van Ree. Cheyl Wright who recently came out (in documentary Wish Me Away) is attractive (though not my type not that I even have a type). Jenny Shimizu (who had an on/off affair with Madonna and r-ship with Angelina) is good looking in a tomboyish way.

Gay40 · 15/04/2012 14:23

Boyish/butch/tomboy do nothing for me at all - I like feminine women with longish hair and an opinion on everything, and who can eat a proper dinner.

Eh?

onanightlikethis · 15/04/2012 14:42

Actually, it doesn't matter what she looks like- it's more about how she makes e feel. But I cannot resist shoulders on show!

MagsAloof · 15/04/2012 14:45

OK, looks wise my ideal women slebs are (in no real order) the actress who plays Lol in This is England (my IDEAL), the actress who pays Nurse Jackie, Uma Thurman, Marisa Tomei and. although she is too young for me, I love the singer Katy B (cute, short, redhead, a bit of no-nonsense about her). I used to have a big crush on Tamsin Outwaite, too. Hr voice was what did it.

I loved Madonna in her heyday, too, when she was in her ultimate fag hag Vogue stage and before she started messing about with fillers and shit.

Ultimately, though, it is personality that attracts me - to both men and women. I like twinkly-eyed, funny, kind people who like food, wine and laughs and dont vote Tory Wink

Loveisthemessage · 15/04/2012 14:49

Gay - grinning at the proper dinner. i like that. Nothing sinister I promise.

sleeplessindenial · 15/04/2012 14:53

Ziva from ncis (cote de pablo) is the most stunning woman in the world ever trufact Grin

onanightlikethis · 15/04/2012 14:56

Hows it going sleepless?

pollyblue · 15/04/2012 14:58

I like feminine women with longish hair and an opinion on everything, and who can eat a proper dinner

this describes my WIQ pretty well - she has completely mad pre-raphelite hair, almost waist length and is quite feminine although no wet blanket....she's capable looking iykwim.

And yes I bet she can put away a good dinner too Grin

My crush has always been actress Kathy Burke - bit of a shabby dresser granted but v intelligent and there's life in her eyes.

Actress Gina McKee is a stunna but looks like a strong gust would knock her sideways.

pollyblue · 15/04/2012 14:59

Mary Portas doesn't do it for me. Lips too thin.

likeatonneofbricks · 15/04/2012 14:59

Loveis, I don't know of any of the women you mentioned! are they really celebs? Grin
Mags, Tamzin i second, though also mainly as a whole person/voice.
sleep, can you get a link on here for this most stunning woman ever!?

pollyblue · 15/04/2012 15:00

Trapped thankyou. Good to hear from you again, hope you'll keep popping back whe you can x

likeatonneofbricks · 15/04/2012 15:01

well polly that's not 'longish hair' it's a major mane!

pollyblue · 15/04/2012 15:03

that's why I found it so funny when Gay recommended I rein WIQ on your thread! Grin Was a very appropiate comment given the hair......

I should hasten to add she doesn't resemble a horse in any other way.

likeatonneofbricks · 15/04/2012 15:05

is your wiq a bit like Catherine Tate? she's a very strong personality and with wild hair!

likeatonneofbricks · 15/04/2012 15:06

it was me who said she's like an unruly horse, need reigning in! Gay called her a wild cat or something.

pollyblue · 15/04/2012 15:12

Sorry was it? God, my memory is shocking.....

Yes similar-ish though not in build. Definitely not cocky though, she seems quite shy sometimes. WIQ's hair is dark reddish brown.

likeatonneofbricks · 15/04/2012 15:24

is she funny as well? that's a nice hair colour, deep reddish tone.

pollyblue · 15/04/2012 15:26

Yes, well she makes me laugh. Funny without meaning to be, which is rather nice.
