Snapespeare · 21/11/2011 12:50

see, I think i'm fairly well preserved for 43 (post multiple preganancy stomach aside) I'm not dead. I don't really want to date someone in their fifties (perfectly nice though they might be and iof course talking in sweeping generalisations...)

pfft. I'm off to the gym.

TimeForMeIsFree · 21/11/2011 12:55

More clues please PoppaRob.

Snape, me too re well preserved and I don't want a man in his fifties either. So I guess that makes me as bad as those guys in their 40's looking for women in their 30's Grin

PoppaRob · 21/11/2011 12:59

3 litre / 6 litre

Snapespeare · 21/11/2011 12:59

time I like to think of myself as Demi Moore... and we all know where that ended up! Grin

Zanywany · 21/11/2011 13:07

HI everyone

I'm with you Lubey and Watch as I'm broke until I get paid, would have been fine except for the £250 car bill and £53 vet bill for the dog's cough!

I had quite a busy weekend, did chores, cut grass etc on Saturday and then it was my DS's football yesterday (they won 12-0), then shopping hen a takeaway at my parents. Think I have put on a few llbs just this weekend.

Make what's the story reg layer?

Swallowed presume your on your date - dosn't forget to report back

I finally got my divorce finalised this year after seperating 5 years ago. I burst into tears when my solicitor rang, I wanted the divorce badly and it was my decision to end the marriage but I felt such a failure and guilt towards my DC's that we weren't together anymore

Zanywany · 21/11/2011 13:08

Boiling water tap?

watchoutforthatsnail · 21/11/2011 13:11

cooker?

snape - demi moore.... aston is very pretty. an arse but a pretty one all the same.

time - yeah, it was fab, loved it. sorry about your hamster :( hows the cat though?
and i cant believe that comment, its appaling.

i couldnt see either of you with old 50 year olds... neither of you look or act your age. :) or maybe just those men are awful and someone far more worthy will come along?

make - found one yet?

generally im pleased i havent settled. I know this is a good thing. its just when it comes to the point that you have to buy your own xmas presents else you will only have one to open, its a little sad. DD and i open ours early and then family ones when we see them later... so the only one i get in the morning is what i buy for dd to give me. last year even she ( and she was 4) was like ' where are your presents mummy, have you been naughty this year' urgh. This year im buying myself a few things... but still, you know.

Zanywany · 21/11/2011 13:11

Gas cooker?

PoppaRob · 21/11/2011 13:12

All good, especially the icecream maker, but alas much more basic than that.

Zanywany · 21/11/2011 13:14

I get you on the present thing Watch. It's not about wanting to be given things to me it brings it home that I'm on my own. My XP was brilliant at buying presents (one of the few things he was good at) and so I only have presents from my DC's to open. Its worth it though as mine are old enough to buy things themselves so its always a surprise (usually my favourite chocolate and necklace/bracelet)

Zanywany · 21/11/2011 13:15

sink?

Makeyerowndamndinner · 21/11/2011 13:17

Story is I've come to London to spend a couple of days with him. Where it's going to lead is anyones guess. Nowhere I think, and I'm ok with that actually. I don't think we fit together quite well enough to pursue a serious relationship.

Having said that, he is extremely nice. Decent and respectful. Chooses to earn a lot less as a legal aid lawyer specialising in asylum when he could be making big bucks as a private lawyer in London. He's tall, dark, and good looking. Good in bed. Intelligent.

If you were a woman who was of the mind to settle down you could do an awful lot worse. Definite long term material. Just don't think that's what I want. Plus he lives 200 miles away...

Zanywany · 21/11/2011 13:17

worktop?

Makeyerowndamndinner · 21/11/2011 13:18

And yes, I found a cup. And a plate. Things are looking up!

Really should get a shower and get dressed at some point Grin

Zanywany · 21/11/2011 13:21

200 miles is quite a long way. He does sound lovely but if your not sure that you want a long term thing then just enjoy your time with him.

Zanywany · 21/11/2011 13:22

Teasmaid? Grin

watchoutforthatsnail · 21/11/2011 13:23

make - he sounds lovely, now, is he a bit scruffy? because if he is, send him snapes way when you are done with him. lol :)

zany - glad you get what i mean, i felt a bit childish putting that. I felt it on my birthday too. bit silly really, but i didnt think id be having to buy my own presents, ever. Still, it could be a lot worse. My mum has pre warned me i might feel a bit awful. Im convinced i wont as i cant stand him, but she said ill feel that way anyway... is it just the finality of it or the feelings of failure
