Cos me and my mates are sick of staying in gossiping and drinking wine on a Friday night. Why does there seem to be more single women then men?? Smile

Just had t repeat post by Dooinmecleaning "
I have DH, but I don't think you'd want him? I am willing to throw in a free bottle of Vodka if you take him "....Grin Grin......you need to do a bit more selling dear

TDada · 19/06/2011 08:01

why not join a running club, tennis or sports club ...you will filter the lazy ones?

bellavita · 19/06/2011 08:12

My uncle! (he was was 15 months old when I was born, my grandma being 40 and my mum 19).

In fact he is staying with us this weekend... Shall I go wake him up and tell him to get his butt on here? Grin

He is lovely, hard working, has his own car. He is a lecturer in engineering. Does have a cow of an ex-wife who he is having a horrible time of it with at the moment though.

hobbgoblin · 19/06/2011 09:08

So, belle and pan for a meet up? Who else?

BelleDameSansMerci · 19/06/2011 09:11

TDada, that's all very well but what if we're lazy Grin

And, I think Pan is (wisely) compiling a list!

AwesomePan · 19/06/2011 12:01

Hmm....lazy...doesn't know what she wants....lady without mercy...

ok. lets get that list extended!Grin

MuthaHubbard · 19/06/2011 12:37

hobb - feel free to call in! would be fab to meet up. would be happy to head out and have a mini singles meet if anyone else up for it?!
moody and pan - feel free to pimp me out!! if you want to show the lots on offer my photo and if they are willing to meet let me know.

sadly i am a little shallow so if they are happy to share a pic that would be cool - like hobb i do think there has to be a bit of initial attraction.

MuthaHubbard · 19/06/2011 12:40

belle - you are rather foxy too! and some of the best people around where born in 1973 - ie me! Grin

Moodykat · 19/06/2011 17:19

Mutha where are you from? My guys main problem is that he doesn't drive! You'd be right up his street though!

AwesomePan · 19/06/2011 17:26

about to go outclimbing with my friend who is Lot2. Did I mention he is also a world class rock cliber??

memorylapse · 19/06/2011 17:41

send some nice 40 something blokes my way please..Wink

TDada · 19/06/2011 19:26

I really tall gentle Aussie friend/ex-colleague...he is solvent but not stinkimng rich (works in the city).....only bad point is that a few years ago I arranged blind date between him and a lovely girlfriend and he cancelled last minute without a proper excuse

Ormirian · 19/06/2011 19:29

I know several.

One of who is a serial monogamist who always crashes and burns from relationships because he is a selfish arse.

One of who is a super-nerd - v nice but so odd in his little ways I don't think he could be with anyone now.

I know at least one newly-seperated bloke but all have baggage and kids and, nice as they, I wouldn;'t touch them with a bargepole;.

mumanator · 19/06/2011 19:32

I have two eligible bachelor friends - one of 35 another of 39 - any use to you? Both have jobs and good personal hygiene and a sense of a humour.

memorylapse · 19/06/2011 19:38

mumanator..do either of them have a pulse?Wink

OpusProSerenus · 19/06/2011 19:43

I could donate you my DB, he is really intelligent and funny, a great father and has a good job but doesn't have enough self-confidence so seems to attract bunnyboilers weirdos the wrong sort of woman for him

mumanator · 19/06/2011 19:49

Both with pulses. One even has his own flat and car! (he's the one who's going a bit thin on top though)

mummery · 19/06/2011 19:56

Awesomepan and others I'm up for roadtesting any nice Edinburgh guys Wink and I like 'big' Wink Wink (yes actually I do mean tall and/or heavy that is how I roll...)

In return I can offer my brother in SE England, he's 30, led a bit of a sheltered life but he's very moral, honest as the day is long, intelligent, funny, he was made redundant around Christmas and feels like not having a job he has no right to be looking for a girlfriend Sad

Or, I also have available a good friend who is about to up sticks to Oxford (will be arriving in a couple of weeks), he won't know anybody there so a good opportunity for someone to take his 'Oxford virginity' so to speak. He's quite short and slightly overweight but funny, loyal, and the best cook I've ever met, in a creative profession, hard worker, really nice guy.

AnyFucker · 19/06/2011 19:59

just skimmed this really sweet thread < nosy >

Can I just say, BelleDameSansMerci is really lovely-looking, vivacious (but not OTT) personality, flashing eyes and brunette hawtness

I met her, I fancied her, and I don't even do that sorta thing Grin

you would be a fool not to...

memorylapse · 19/06/2011 20:02

hobbgoblin · 19/06/2011 20:03

TDada · 19/06/2011 20:09
