Cos me and my mates are sick of staying in gossiping and drinking wine on a Friday night. Why does there seem to be more single women then men?? Smile

hobbgoblin · 19/06/2011 20:10

Is that a polite decline? You read the squirty cream thread didn't you?

Are you older than 46 then?

chris123456 · 19/06/2011 20:12

Yes

hobbgoblin · 19/06/2011 20:13

You look about 32! Belle is going to steal all my favourites, I may have to deal with her.

chris123456 · 19/06/2011 20:17

And I didn't read the squirty cream thread

hobbgoblin · 19/06/2011 20:20

Um, how do you know how old I am by the way?

chris123456 · 19/06/2011 20:22

Well from you photo you appear to be young - under 30 I would guess

hobbgoblin · 19/06/2011 20:24

Great! That has restored cheer to my mood. I am 36. Grin

ChairmumSupermum · 19/06/2011 20:39

Mummery - probly a bit far as I'm in the midlands, but your brother sounds nice. My ex was my one and only (so far) so I guess I'm a bit sheltered too!

BelleDameSansMerci · 19/06/2011 21:13

AF Blush...

and Grin

Thank you.

Apart from Pan, who is miles away (though I will mail you tonight Pan) :( does anybody near London want to go out with me?

Feeling somewhat dejected now.

TDada · 19/06/2011 22:17

hobbg - I am sure that MN is not representative.... there is a new site for Dads according to the Sunday papers..... I am sure that you would be inundated there.

AwesomePan · 19/06/2011 22:30

sure TDada is exactly right on both counts. You look gorgeous and shouldn't have any probs. - don't be dejected.

hobbgoblin · 19/06/2011 22:37

ThanksSmile

I may have to give online dating another whirl. Groan.

Would prefer to meet someone without officially looking iyswim. This thread offered potential!

TDada · 19/06/2011 23:20

hobbg - I am closeby so I will keep a look out for good 'uns. Pan is a real magician; otherwise how come he can see your photos? WOuld like to learn how to do that Smile

AwesomePan · 19/06/2011 23:30

TDada - if you look up a post from Hobb some time yesterday afternoon you'll see a flickr photo she put up - naughty eyes, gorgeous lips, lovely bones and funky hair. Quite why a woman who looks that good can't get a decent date is a comment on our fellow gender folk in the south-east. North of Derby and she would need to erect crush barriers!!

TDada · 19/06/2011 23:47

Pan, and there I was thinking that this was further evidence of your power.... I wouldn't try to defend southern men

MuthaHubbard · 20/06/2011 08:11

moody - i've only just learnt to drive but i'm happy to meet halfway as your lot sounds rather nice.

the antipodean lot sounds interesting also.......

i've tried the online dating thing but obv never seem to meet the right type - think i'm getting more picky in my old age.

MuthaHubbard · 20/06/2011 08:13

Oh and moody - i'm from south cumbria.......another issue as i'm miles away from most of these guys!

Moodykat · 20/06/2011 13:20

Oh bugger, still too bloody far! My lot is in Hampshire. Tits!

memorylapse · 20/06/2011 13:42

pah..I need to stick a new pic on my profile..although I suspect in my case the oodles of children are going to be rather off puttingSad

TDada · 20/06/2011 21:17

DOn't apologise for habing little ones memorylapse; stay positive and confident and they will eat out of your hand :-)

Kewcumber · 20/06/2011 22:58

Have I been paired off yet - no time to read thread. Preferably not with a Mongolian herdsman please. (though come to think of it he would look a bit like DS which would be quite nice for DS!)
