Please forgive this self-indulgent thread, it is only my second in several years, so I am owed one I think

A thread I was on last night made me finally realise that the ridiculously-ballsy caricature of a reputation that goes before
this name was devaluing the message I was trying to convey. It was the gaslighting one, FWIW, but this isn't really about that.

I am not going anywhere, I love MN too much but AF has to go

Just wanted to get it off my chest, and hopefully stop the "where is AF" speculation that sometimes can go along with a prolific poster suddenly stopping posting.

Your emotional intelligence is off the top of the charts. It is a challenge to educate people who are in deep voodoo, yet you have perservered time and again and helped so many people.

Yet, not everyone is reachable for whatever reason (they can not be basically honest with themselves).
