Laying AnyFucker to rest....

Please forgive this self-indulgent thread, it is only my second in several years, so I am owed one I think Smile

A thread I was on last night made me finally realise that the ridiculously-ballsy caricature of a reputation that goes before
this name was devaluing the message I was trying to convey. It was the gaslighting one, FWIW, but this isn't really about that.

I am not going anywhere, I love MN too much but AF has to go Smile

Just wanted to get it off my chest, and hopefully stop the "where is AF" speculation that sometimes can go along with a prolific poster suddenly stopping posting.

See yas around Smile

Wonder how long it'll take for MR Fucker to rock up on here moaning that before yesterday his DW was happily ensconced mostly in Relationships, for days hours at a time and now she is on some kind of break and is demanding sex, gin and chocolate, and wearing him to a shadow of his former self...

Place yer bets....

Very clever BlueF, but i'd never notice her using that endearment before? perhaps it's all part of the disguise

GwynAndBearIt · 16/02/2011 20:34

Deffo, just checked out some other posts. I hope she doesn't change too often.

I always used to enjoy saying 'i agree with anyfucker' - now saying i agree with is almost as funny Grin

Oh dear, and I for one was incredibly pleased she had gone.

She was very unpleasant and rude to me last year and really upset me when I was going through a difficult time.

Some people on here think it is fine to show off and be loud and unpleasant.

reelinginthecuntingyears · 16/02/2011 23:36

Hard lines love.

reelingintheyears · 16/02/2011 23:41

And so why post on here....

Go away.

AnyFucker was not loud and unpleasant, if she said anything you didn't like it is probably because you needed to hear/read it.

I hope you are having a better time of it now.

CainInThePunt · 16/02/2011 23:45

Oops forgot to namechange.

Muthafucker · 16/02/2011 23:57

coming from a highly moderated forum i can safely say that when i saw AFs name i knew i was in the right place!

i guess i should change back to my usual name now eh?

reelingintheyears · 17/02/2011 00:03

Well yes please MUTHAFUCKER ....

'Cos i thought you were AF.....Grin

perfectstorm · 17/02/2011 00:22

Higgle I've never seen AF be gratuitously unpleasant to anyone. Her posting style is direct but that's something many people really like about MN. If you prefer snuggly (nothing wrong with that at all, horses for courses) Netmums is a gentler arena.

I should add that there's a certain irony in coming on to a thread about someone to attack them, and saying you're sad they're remaining, when your complaint is unnecessary nastiness.

higgle · 17/02/2011 07:37

No, I don't like snuggly, but it does take you aback when in the midst of a sea of unconditional support you get a few nasty comments.

LittleHouseByTheRiver · 17/02/2011 07:45

I disagree higgle.

I have been through a long and difficult time over the last few years. At one point my now exH posted on here pretending to be a wronged wife and outlining all my failings.

AF called him on why he put up with the treatment I had allegedly given him. She told him to tell me to fuck off and when I got there to fuck off again, and to see a solicitor. He didn't do either but I did, and as a consequence am happier than I have been for ages.

She could see the truth about our relationship clearly and without emotion getting in the way. Sometimes that is exactly what is needed.

Sometimes the best medicine tastes nasty even when it does you good! Smile
