Ohh, I wish it did desire.

The only thing that's growing round here is the realisation that we'll be working until we're 90 to pay for lovely DC to have 3/4 years of unparralleled fun!

Still we all did it I suppose, just wasn't so expensive then. And if you didn't do it, I can tell you it wasn't all it's cracked up to be, well not for me anyway.

MsGee - no worries! Yes, I am feeling upbeat today which makes a pleasant change I can tell you.

MsGee - Send DD this way, she can come and play with Nemo and watch Mister Maker whist DH builds a giant bonfire and DD get's ready for her friend arriving.

It's pouring with rain here! I think we might need something to help the bonfire get going!!!

Red - FB was warned 'off' you?! Christ on a bike! Why do people stick there bloody noses in?

mouse I was pretty pissed off when I found out but then just amused that people have nothing better to worry about than who others are sleeping with! I wish that was the height of my worries I really do!

OK, I know this is not as interesting as Red's love life, but I have dilemma. Our bathroom needs updated and I have been getting some quotes. One (by a Polish plumber) is half the price of the other two (and I liked the Polish bloke - he has good references, brought a CD of their work, and I think he would do other jobs around the house). The lady who came today is a local firm - her dad and 2 brothers do the techanical work and she does the ideas stuff. She suggested a slight adjustment to the layout that would work really well.

So I take her ideas (and the computer drawing that she will send over the weekend) and get the cheaper bloke to do it?

venus I am not sure! I would be tempted to take her ideas etc. But then you have to remember that I am a selfish, amoral, still active alkie so might not have the best point of view!

In agreement with Red, anything that saves you money Venus:)

I would agonise over it for hours, and then my concience would make me employ the local firm, and the polish guy for all the other jobs.

No copyright on her ideas, maybe I will wait to see her designs. If they are stunning then I might go with her, but if they're not, or if she's not taken my views on board then I'll use that as an excuse to go with the other guy - and have a clear conscience. Thing is, if we go with the expensive one, then I won't be able to afford to get the other jobs done....

It's a tricky one venus. I think you should wait and see - like you said.

Well babes, it's almost sign-off time. (I bet you have missed my long farewells that go on for about half an hour, haven't you?!) I will not be back until Monday - and I will definitely be here no matter what.

HI Mouse I have taken Metronidazol recently for tooth problems. They are hideous and can make you feel really shitty. Drink a big glass of water when you take one it helps alot.
Thurso My Manboys also think that we have a cash dispencer secreted somewhere in the house!! Wish I could bloody find it!

Thanks MissP, I think that's half of the problem. I can't really eat so there's nothing lining my stomach.

venus - use her designs if they are ok, but ask her to proce match the polish guy? If she really wants your business, she'll come up with a better proce for you.
