I quite like the Helen storyline. It is articulating a problem that lots of women do face even if they don't go down the sperm donor route.

Helen is a complete and utter perfectionist control freak; look at how aghast she was that her mother smoked at the time she was conceived.

Why has no one asked Helen how she plans to sort out childcare for the little blurb, does she expect her parents to do that bit for her???

There was some chat about "using childcare" then Tony said huh you mean me and your mother and she claimed she didn't mean that. Don't believe her though, do you? Though wouldn't she be a nightmare, the child would no doubt come with a tome of instructions do this don't do that...

I did believe her actually - there's no way she'd let her father near any child of hers! Her mother maybe - under protest. I'm quite sure Great-Aunt Lilian won't be suitable either!

the child who is Josh is by far the best - though they all make me cringe- particularly dreary Pip who sounds half bored.

Will Helen undergo any sort of psychological assessment before going ahead with her fertility treatment? Because I can't see her passing that with flying colours...

Somehow don't think Kate's going back to SA - hence Hayley saying periodically "I'll be glad when she goes home", "Thank goodness she's only here for a few weeks" etc etc.
I also still don't we should rule out Ian fathering Helen's baby.

Au contraire, Lio. Kate finds her own offspring a tad inconvenient - you know, all that looking after them and making sacrifices etc. She's more likely to dump Siphon on Jennifer / Hayley/ Vicky - Helen even - and run than take Feebs back to SA. She has form.

But, as LillianGish says, looks like she's here for the foreseeable since all does not look rosy in the Lucas camp ( you've got to feel sorry for Lucas).
