I agree maryann- what is the point in that storyline unless he goes bonkers?

MaryAnnSingleton · 13/11/2008 14:39

oh dear, it's Peggy's injured little voice ' oh Jack !...' that makes me want to slap her [uncharitable thoughts emoticon]

choccyp1g · 13/11/2008 17:15

I'm hopingexpecting Peggy to get some sleeping pills for Jack, and do a double overdose...but then Peggy survives and gets tried for "mercy killing".
Is it my imagination or are half the characters being played by new actors? I thought Alan's voice changed after his honeymoon, now today I'm thinking Will doesn't sound the same as he used to.

MaryAnnSingleton · 13/11/2008 17:59

there's no mistaking Will's whine...

poppy34 · 13/11/2008 20:35

maryann/choccy - I"m so with you.. as I listened to peggy whining about being so tired ..the idea of a suicide pact came unbidden to mind.

and as for nic being back whoever it was that predicted that is so right (wills going on bout how nice it was strikes me as prelude to the whingers return)

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/11/2008 12:06

well,thank goodness for that...

poppy34 · 17/11/2008 12:12

for what mary ann? the fact that only lilian has any sense in that family or that the tedious saga of tom and the pig retard is over

poppy34 · 17/11/2008 12:13

so bad has the peggy infestation become I was relieved to have a panto storyline

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/11/2008 12:15

all of those things...!! am quite warming to old Hayley these days - she's a voice of reason - though Roy is very testing...

poppy34 · 17/11/2008 13:59

I like hayley too (and have some sympathy re sleeplessness) but why did she ever marry roy?

TsarChasm · 17/11/2008 14:04

'oh dear, it's Peggy's injured little voice ' oh Jack !...' that makes me want to slap her [uncharitable thoughts emoticon]'

How very true!

Can I add Jenny's 'Oh..mum...'

Aaargh! Why do I listen to it??!

poppy34 · 17/11/2008 14:09

you're not being uncharitable but normal re peggy... I have a very simple solution to her complaints about being tired....

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/11/2008 14:18

I was willing Mr Woolley to do something much worse than untidy her cupboards

poppy34 · 17/11/2008 14:19

to peggy that is about as bad as it can get

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/11/2008 14:25

!

poppy34 · 19/11/2008 19:06

ok now the panto thing is now getting on my tits... and as for peggy and her whining .. ffs

MaryAnnSingleton · 19/11/2008 19:47

haven't listened to it today...can imagine though

MaryAnnSingleton · 20/11/2008 15:42

uh, heard the afternoon episode today...cringe at the thought of Peggy inspecting 'the future father of her great grandchild'

poppy34 · 20/11/2008 17:05

I blanked that bit out - how old is debbie anyway? I lose track

MaryAnnSingleton · 20/11/2008 17:22

she must be well into her thirties I'd think

oliviaMumsnet · 25/11/2008 14:45

Listened to last week's omnibus so am behind but was SO pleased that Roy was singing lullabies to baby abigail as I finally (after 9 months) identified the unknown one on DS's monitor!
Golden slumbers apparently

poppy34 · 25/11/2008 14:56

MaryAnnSingleton · 26/11/2008 22:17

hollyivypoppy34 · 02/12/2008 17:48

Anyone else wondering if the Grundy's have anything to do with the Lapland fiasco at the New Forest?
