I went to a party today and met a friend of a friend who is....

I didn't hear the very beginning and once I tuned in I thought I was hallucinating or somthing - it was completely insane. Even more so when Rooooooth and Deeeeeevid came onto the scene and instead of telling Lynda she was mad and immediately taking Jill away from this lunatic woman, were hopelessly wringing their hands and faffing about!

What on earth do the scriptwriters think they're doing?!

I'm a bit sketchy on it becuase I've missed a few too.

Brenda used to work for Matt and Matt's p'd off Steven Chalkman his partner in crime by spilling a load of dirt to the cops about what they'd been up to.

Brenda was at home one day and Chalkie came by to put the frighteners on her because he thought she was involved too (bit hazy on quite why).

Tom charged in to the rescue and saved her.

Damsel in distress routine won the day and they made up. Ahhhhh...

Chalkie went round to Tom and Brenda's bungalow and Tom told him she was now living back with Mike. Then he realised what he'd done and charged to her rescue.

They are getting married now! I'm glad - I was quite upset when they broke up

Can anyone explain to me what the point of Annette's character is? I'm a bit bemused
