I'll just have to start one then.

OP posts:

wish it was Pip pregnant instead of Izzy...David would be apoplectic !

finknottle · 17/10/2008 08:19

Yes, then we'd get an enormously long drawn-out "Oooooooohhhhhhhhh Nnnnnnnnnnnoooooo" from Ruth.

While I'm in reminiscent mood, there always is a stroppy strident teenage girl astride her hobby-horse & bursting with righteous indignation.

Lucy & hunting
Elizabeth in reporter mode with calves
Kate & money "Just not my thing, Dad, gimme more"
Helen as super-manager

Haven't listened as regularly lately:
Amy? Did she have a righteous phase?
Alice? Just strident about local hotties?

MorticiaAnnSpookington · 23/10/2008 14:17

argghhh - Peggy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

poppy34 · 26/10/2008 15:45

I'm with you maryann...sanctimonious old cow

FiveGoMadInDorset · 26/10/2008 20:09

I am beginning to feel a bit sorry for Brian with the prospect of Peggy and Jack living with them.

scampadoodle · 26/10/2008 20:18

I was hoping Peggy's stroke would rob her of the power of speech but unfortunately it was not to be...

She nearly kills herself running around after Jack, so of course Lillian & Jennifer have to do the same.

(It's not real It's not real It's not real...)

MorticiaAnnSpookington · 26/10/2008 20:29

I felt sooo sorry for poor Lillian when hideous Peggy was ranting on - and Jack is so happy at the Willows or whatever it's called. Have really warmed to Tiger over this Jack business too.

spicemonster · 26/10/2008 20:32

Peggy is being an absolute cow to her children. Poor Lillian.

scampadoodle · 26/10/2008 20:33

But he's still trying to diddle Tony & Pat though, isn't he?

With Jack, I think one just has to mention food to win him round. On his first day at The Willows Diane mentions afternoon tea & he's off...

FiveGoMadInDorset · 27/10/2008 19:54

God she is a cantankerous old witch, I just want to scream at her and tell her how awful and ungrateful she is.

Lilymaid · 27/10/2008 19:59

I think she is heading for a major stroke (rather like Betty and the second heart attack)- at least then Jack will be happy in his little world at the Willows.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 27/10/2008 20:05

I think you could be right and perhaps they willboth end up there.

spicemonster · 27/10/2008 20:13

She has such a god complex - no one can possibly look after Jack apart from her.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 29/10/2008 21:06

yay a night without Peggy

CatMandu · 29/10/2008 21:18

What's happening with the Will Grundy and Nick storyline?

poppy34 · 31/10/2008 19:41

I don't know but its a welcome break from saint peggy ..even bert and the ploughing seemed better than that

FiveGoMadInDorset · 03/11/2008 20:03

Its' all going to go horribly wrong now that Peggy has said everything is going to be alright.

And have they not heard of online shopping?

And welcome back Ian.

My bet is that he will go in one morning for his cup of coffee/I am checking up on you and one/both will be .......

MaryAnnSingleton · 06/11/2008 16:15

crikey FiveGoMad, you are psychic ! I rather thought Jack had gone completely loopy and smeared excrement over Peggy's dralon

poppy34 · 06/11/2008 19:13

5gomad you msut be psychic (And maryann I had visions of jack being naked or something equally barf inducing yesterday) ... lets hope its

there is WAY too much ruth and daveed in it this week plus am I the only uncharitable one who is bored stiff by the alistair and his gamblers anonymous storyline?

plus the halfwit working for tom -surely only a halfwit would take that job working for him (I stand by my commment about the best of that family falling under a tractor).

poppy34 · 06/11/2008 19:13

sorry too fast on keyboard - hoping peggy pegs it after finding her kitchen mucked up again (you wouldnt be able to tell if jack had been near mine )

MaryAnnSingleton · 06/11/2008 22:05

the GA storyline is indeed tiresome and Tom is a halfwit for employing the halfwit without seeing any references...tsk.

MaryAnnSingleton · 10/11/2008 15:13

be careful Ian !

poppy34 · 10/11/2008 16:07

Ian is far too nice for the oldbag confused old dear

boogeek · 10/11/2008 16:39

Do you think Alistair's GA chappy (is it Ryan?) is going to turn into a psycho stalker?

MaryAnnSingleton · 10/11/2008 16:56

no, it's just a tiresome storyline I think...Tom's pigman more likely to !
