Spoilers thread for The Archers. All Archers listeners are welcome here, whether you post on our main Archers thread or not. There's just one rule: please keep all spoiler-related discussion in this thread and do not spill the beans on the main Archers thread.

We usually add the BBC teasers and cast lists for forthcoming episodes as they become available, plus the Radio Times and other previews when possible. Feel free to add anything else you come across, e.g. cast news, scriptwriter tweets!

Re Kirsty, Erik probably turns out to be either married or unmarried but with 17 children.

Treetreetreetree · 13/06/2026 20:42

Too much Pip and Adam at the moment. They both drive me mad. I don’t care about Pip or what happens to her. I like Stella.
I love that Tracey is now the cheese queen.

Gonners · 13/06/2026 20:58

I'm hoping that Adam drops dead in a fit of rage and that Stella packs up quietly in the night and leaves. Obviously it would be better if Stella stayed and Pip and Rosie were trampled by a passing cow, but that's not going to happen.

This is the prefect scenario.

Gonners · 13/06/2026 21:13

I do wonder how long it will be before there is some cheese disaster for which Tracey gets the blame. Not too long, I hope, because Tracy isn't Clarrie and Jazzer will back her to the hilt.

TottersBlankly · 13/06/2026 21:26

I wonder if the creative team have fixed on Rosie’s character and personality yet.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 13/06/2026 21:28

Why would they break the habits of a lifetime? They haven't done that for anyone.

Madcats · 14/06/2026 09:02

The dramatic spoilers never seem to come to much. But PLEASE can Ruth/Pip crack on with the genetic testing.

Ruth is late 50’s so has presumably had more than her fair share of clear smear tests and breast X-rays since having cancer (it is her birthday on Tuesday, incidentally).

Instead I will look forward to the arrival of Keira’s voice and continue to wonder why she ran away on that fateful NYE.

FatRosie · 14/06/2026 13:05

Why would they break the habits of a lifetime? They haven't done that for anyone. But they have, and they do it well most of the time. It's just that they also have established characters behave completely out of character.

But PLEASE can Ruth/Pip the cows crack on with the genetic test Pip and Rosie trampling.

Two more spoilers for this week and one for next week, which sounds promising (I know, I know).

TV Times 13th -19th June
Things are only getting worse for Brian, who continues to unravel - much to the concern of his family. At Brookfield, meanwhile, disaster strikes - leaving David, Pip and Alistair with a heartbreaking battle. Also this week, there’s increasing tension between George and Amber as the pair consider their next steps - and Oliver keeps quiet when someone goes digging.

Total TV Guide 13th - 19th June
The knives are well and truly out for Brian this week as a vengeful Adam delivers a body blow, while Miranda also pulls no punches by leaving Brian in no doubt as to her feelings - leaving Kate to make a desperate attempt to help him. There’s more devastation over at Brookfield, where David, Pip and Alistair face a disastrous situation - but later in the week there’s a glimmer of good news. Tension mounts at No. 1 The Green as Amber contemplates reconnecting with her parents. Can she dare hope for a positive encounter, or will Bill reverse his ‘fancy wheels’ smartly over his daughter’s hopes and dreams? And Oliver remains tight-lipped when another resident tries to get to the truth.

Radio Times Ambridge Diary 21-26 June
The UN peacekeeping force - otherwise known as Ruth - is called in to smooth things over among the warring Aldridges but oooh nooo, could her diplomatic calm and past experience dealing with the quarrelsome clan actually make the situation worse? The usually reasonable Ian reaches the end of his tether and makes a ruinous suggestion to Adam, which could blow things wide open for Brian. There are also arguments at the Grundys, as Keira makes her feelings about George abundantly clear.

@Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g , thank you. We have a glimmer of hope- as Keira makes her feelings about George abundantly clear..

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 16/06/2026 15:39

I didn't know Ruth was supposed to have diplomatic skill! I can't say I had ever noticed it in her.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 16/06/2026 15:55

I know! They must be absolutely desperate if they're relying on Ruth to mediate.

OP posts:
FatRosie · 16/06/2026 16:37

I heard that 'I know!' in the Dead Ringers voice. The Sue Mitchell one cracks me up 'He's ex-Army.' Grin.

Ruth will do her 'hushed soothing voice'.

Madcats · 16/06/2026 16:39

Didn't Ruth used to attend the partnership to represent Ruairi when he was U18? She'll probably persuade them to flog the place and emigrate!

Presumably the actor is up to something exciting for the forseeable. If I were Brian I would probably be even more annoyed with him than Adam. Brian could be sat round the pool at Home Farm with Miranda if it wasn't for Ruairi.

I do love the fact that George is too thick to even contemplate that it was far more likely that Ruairi (not his Octogenarian Dad) who would have bopped him over the head with a bottle of Chardonnay.

Just over a week to go before we hear from Keira!

FatRosie · 16/06/2026 16:42

I expect that Keira will be dreadful to start with but will be a good character before long. I imagine her being a bit like Emma but less bitter and she'll resent George.

Gonners · 16/06/2026 17:03

I think Keira has good reason to do more than resent George. If I were her, I'd loathe him most heartily.

FatRosie · 16/06/2026 17:08

It's a strange dynamic. Spoilt George and Ignored Keira.

Poppy will have other issues but she has 3 half-siblings and Mia is generally good to her.

TottersBlankly · 16/06/2026 18:13

Brian could be sat round the pool at Home Farm if it wasn’t for Ruairi.

Oh, my - I can’t remember ever reading a sadder sentence. (‘The House of Mirth’ excluded’.) It’s so very true. And maybe in a while Brian could have fallen asleep for the last time without ever informing Adam that he’s not his child. Or uttering the fateful Get orf my land!

😢

WombatCowgirl · 17/06/2026 06:19

Why doesn't Adam go to the police about Brian perverting the course of justice? Since Brian is willing to call the police on Adam! I do hope the situation won't end in full King Lear mode with Adam saying "yet Adam was beloved" and Alice or Kate as Cordelia!

TottersBlankly · 17/06/2026 07:29

I get that Adam might not want to incriminate Ruairi - but the SWs are somewhat hampered by Arthur Hughes probably not having been available when recent weeks’ episodes were being recorded.

He’s busy!

TherapistInATabard · 17/06/2026 11:51

Lots of speculation on the main thread that Cleo could be the sheep savager, but I can’t see anything in the spoilers to hint at that.

WombatCowgirl · 18/06/2026 05:56

Whoops double posted!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 18/06/2026 21:05

The thought of Ian playing his trump (typo for Trump?) card is less than enticing!
