Radio Times Ambridge Diary 5-10 January
Leonard is knocked sideways by some emotional news and all does not go well when he faces a difficult day with the Brookfield family standing by his side. Harrison has to fight to keep his emotions in check when he faces a challenging callout, but then receives a surprising offer from his superior. Lily takes matters into her own hands when Brad tells her he's struggling, Jolene makes a rash decision at The Bull, and Khalil's mouth runs away with him.

12th January – 17th January 2025

I hope if it is yet another of his 'with fatal consequences' ones, he's the victim this time.

I was hoping tonight’s cliffhanger might mean Peggy has left everything to Kate - but she’s absent from the next few weeks’ lists, so I guess that can’t be it.

I wonder if Kate has had the same message as everyone else as she is one of the named grandchildren under a specific bequest to each of them; but she will subsequently receive more when they work out the residuary bequests, as she can only then get her share of what Jenny would have been bequeathed?i

Presumably it has dawned on Zainab that working for her friend as a waitress in a vegan restaurant will be far more enjoyable than being a Deliveroo driver on her moped.

Thank goodness ot looks as if it has occurred to them that Grey Gables needs a manager.

And Russ had his good points, not least a sincere dislike of most Ambridgeites that he didn’t bother to conceal, and an interest in something other than livestock, cakes or the sodding cricket.

The funeral at last! They've found something in the budget to get Hugh Dennis to play Crispin the vicar. I'm glad they've put Keri Davies onto this week's scripts.
