Radio Times Ambridge Diary 5-10 January
Leonard is knocked sideways by some emotional news and all does not go well when he faces a difficult day with the Brookfield family standing by his side. Harrison has to fight to keep his emotions in check when he faces a challenging callout, but then receives a surprising offer from his superior. Lily takes matters into her own hands when Brad tells her he's struggling, Jolene makes a rash decision at The Bull, and Khalil's mouth runs away with him.

12th January – 17th January 2025
12.1 Justin faces a dilemma, and plans forge ahead for Ruth.
13.1 Joy isn’t herself at all, and Helen considers her options.
14.1 Rex is left confused, and Neil has questions.
15.1 The verdict is in for Kirsty, and Brian finds himself out of his comfort zone.

so Helen is keeping clarrie for 12 weeks then paying redundancy. Is she actually making any plans for future sales? Surely the cheeses all have a long lead time?

I'm just catching up. I enjoyed that. A Lynda and Khalil free episode (I can't bear Lynda's so sympathetic voice)

I would have liked Clarrie to just take the money and go. Helen was supremely awful- let's make everything about Helen's feelings.

Gobbets of decomposing [insert deceased of preference] if you believe Rochelle. Buried ‘with her bare hands’. Ye did, Rochelle, aye.

Lynda is so good at getting through to teenagers.
Roach-hell is so unpleasant I wish that the hairy hound had been an Irish wolfhound.

I loathe Lynda. I meant to post on the main thread but the spoilers thread came up first. It has 3 posts on it commenting on what had already happened tonight before I posted. So not spoilers at all.

It was a pun, @IHaveAlwaysLivedintheCastle .

I realise it was a pun. It also came across as a ticking off for posting on the wrong thread. I'm aware I posted on the wrong thread but couldn't edit it.

It wasn't a telling off. It'd just that I avoid the other thread because of the endless negativity on there. Don't spoil this one by slagging off a much-loved character.

Please don't issue orders about what can and can't be posted. Your original post very much came across as a ticking off- I suppose that's possibly because you are channeling Lynda Snell.

And amply demonstrated - not.

Boy should read Joy…

Wow! That would have been a whole different story if Rochelle had buried the boy as well.

Snell is at least as much hated as ‘loved’ - I would guess considerably more - at least n part because of her obnoxious habit of telling others what they should or should not be doing.

I'd dispute that, @RegimentalSturgeon .

I'd say that many people on this board are not shy about coming forward to say they dislike Lynda. So I think RegimentalSturgeon is simply reporting what can easily be observed when s/he writes "Snell is at least as much hated as ‘loved'" and is entitled to the opinion "I would guess considerably more".

How could anyone hate Lynda. She has a heart of gold.

And a neck of brass.

I can't argue with that.

She's awful. I don't know why anyone puts up with her bossing them around.
