Thank you, @PseudoBadger, for kicking off this long, long series of Archers threads.

All views on The Archers welcome here! New blood welcomed, and of course we are always delighted to welcome back former or occasional listeners/posters. We don't all agree on all points, although we do mostly try to be civil about it. Most of us are posting tongue in cheek a lot of the time, so don't worry about revealing that you'd love to be married to Harrison, or other unusual views.

He might not want her and his leech of a sister around once he has a wife and children; after all, Elizabeth very much wanted to be rid of Julia, in similar circumstances.

Yet searching both Aldi's shelves and aldi.ie online yields 0 (zero) returns, so I suspect that is from the before times. Bear in mind that it was this year that Iceland in Ireland went into receivership because they would do the paperwork required to import the stock for their shops.

@AskingQuestionsAllTheTime , I'm not sure I want to be on a thread dedicated to lime marmalde.
Might nip to Aldi and buy some just to gloat.

The best marmalade I ever made had Seville orange, sweet orange, blood orange, clementine, mandarin, lime, lemon, grapefruit and pomelo. Every mouthful was an adventure - must make some more sometime. But it's a winter task.

Assuming the food reg mismatch cuts both ways it would probably be seized and destroyed at the port of entry. So sad.

Went to Aldi. No lime marmalade, but they did have something unappealing and orange-coloured in a jar with 'orange marmalade' on the label.
Contemplated stopping at another supermarket but CBA. I don't even like limes.
Missed TA, I caught only the last minute or so.

There's a street called The Limes near that branch of Aldi.

I received some lovely looking pink grapefruit marmalade as a gift the other day. Haven’t tried it yet.

If the scriptwriters killed off Freddie, who would inherit LL?

Would it by Lily, Camilla’s oldest son, would the young lady he dallied with turn up with a young child or would Freddie be intestate so it would be split between Lizzie and Lily

I would have thought it would be Lily next in line.
