All views on The Archers welcome here! New blood welcomed, and of course we are always delighted to welcome back former or occasional listeners/posters. We don't all agree on all points, although we do mostly try to be civil about it. Most of us are posting tongue in cheek a lot of the time, so don't worry about revealing that you'd like to have your fortune told by Bartleby, or other unusual views.

Yes his decision wasn't misguided really was it.

George will be making a massive mistake by lying. Did he know about Nic running Matt Crawford down, do you think? Will Will find himself covering up for George?

I don't think they would look for fingerprints unless they have reason to suspect foul play. Plus George's fingerprints would be everywhere now because he went to 'help' Alice - so not suspicious.

He could simply say that driving Alice was his intention when he made the call but she refused to give him the keys and drive off without him. If he keeps cool, Alice is cooked. Even if fingerprints are found, there’s reasonable doubt as to whether they got there while he was trying to revive her.

Harrison's reaction to all this is going to end his policing career.

May Day existed long before the bank holiday, which only came into existence in England in 1978.

Their affair has infuriated me but they both did well tonight. Alistair dived in without a second thought. I’m begrudgingly ok with them ending up together but I think Paul will put a spanner in the works.

It wasn’t George’s fault Alice tried to get out on the narrow bridge over a full river just as another car came towards them. Driving her home doesn’t seem that crazy a thing to do.

So either he isn’t insured, or he thinks he is over the limit.

How will George explain what he was doing there?

I am really disappointed Alistair and Denise survived. I really had high hopes that this would be the end of that SL. Still, looking on the bright side, George may lose interest in Bartleby after this.

How is George going to answer the questions of how he was at the scene of the crash.

But also have to say Denise seemed to be enjoying herself a bit too much. And unfortunately emerged unscathed.

i think George would have been able to explain it all to the police but I can understand why he’s scared. He’s just dropped himself in it though

why would he have been there? Is it on his way home?

He must have made the decision to cover up when he called 999 of course, he presumably didn't say that he'd had a collision just that he'd come across one.

But now I'm conflicted because actually George = aquatic hero and Aliss = ms sodding Teflon who I'd like to see get her comeuppance. On balance, I'm happy enough with George successfully pulling off a pervert course of justice swapsie!
