I wonder where Brian and Jennifer will end up. I was very taken with the idea on the last thread that the mysterious Gills won't last very long and the house will be sold back to the Aldridges at a knockdown price.

I bet Brian is a really attractive older chap.

Kate has long curly dark hair.

Alice dresses well.

Fallon is more attractive than Mr Fallon whose name escapes me.

Jonny is pale and gingerish but handsome - sort of a young Damian Lewis

Adam is bloody gorgeous. Tall and dark. Ian is plump and short and homely

Lizzie is beautiful. Lily isn't quite as lovely as her mother.

Isn't Susan meant to be attractive??

And in my world, Ed is just sexy as hell.

Emmur actress was on Pointless fairly recently. She was annoyingly attractive.

Thanks Errol - I had forgotten her 40th celebration and gift requests. Which makes her about my age as I suspected. I’m just in denial about grey hairs!

I think it was Debbie a pp said would be going grey, rather than Kate. Debbie is about 50 so she would be (will dye assiduously though, she is still Jenny's daughter). Debbie has always had dark hair to me, though I am aware that my image of her was challenged by seeing Tamsin Grieg, who does not look the same, yet their images have become conflated in my mind over the years.

I've seen pictures of the David and Ruth actors and they are wrong, wrong, wrong!

The film is making me even more enraged about c-m-Russ. The way he stood around carping while she sorted out the Treetop Wank (sic) - instead of taking over so she could get on with something else. Loved the way Lily left him to it while she went off to the pub with Phoebe!

No she won't - there was a conversation about her not dyeing and grey hair showing last time she visited (or possibly the time before.)

Oh? Debbie the naturalistic rebel! I suppose she has taken a path of honesty and integrity, in contrast to Jenny's life of compromise for the sake of 'keeping up appearances' (well, for the sake of the family really but with an emphasis on externally visible 'standards' too).

Quater I would've given him the job to do immediately but maybe, Lily's trying to be kind (but she has had quite a few goes at him).

Thanks Mike - was beginning to think I’d made that scene up! That makes more sense, I guess Jenny wouldn’t have commented to Chris but felt she could do her own daughter. I was still left with the impression that’s he attractive.

I'm enjoying the 'sudden drop in fortunes' of the Aldridges; the parking disagreements, the 'having no space for the 2nd tagine or the food mixer" Susan's barely concealed schadenfreude to Tracey about the size of their house now.

It's how the other half lives Brian and Jenny. Ruarhi is improving on closer contact too.
