Yes, Brian is very warm, human and loyal (I don't think he's every considered leaving Jenny has he? Did he with Siobhan though?). He does respect other people as individuals with their own needs and interests - was such a great contrast with Rob. He has never thought Jenny and her feelings didn't matter. Just that they're not always compatible with his!
