So it’s taken a sad, untimely death to bring me out of retirement. How I have missed you all Flowers

What she said to Emma was unforgivable.

No sympathy for Will. He's a smug sanctimonious prick.

MiddleClassProblem · 23/02/2018 23:05

I should not have listened to that tipsy on the train. Strangers are present! And I’m holding back tears!

CeciledeVolanges · 23/02/2018 23:09

Surely Will and Ed have the same flaw in terms of controlling their wives? They don't want/like their wives working because they want to keep being proud breadwinners supporting their families. As I remember, Ed has historically been much worse for this than Will was, although Will didn't want women on the cricket team so I suppose he's just as much a misogynist.

But their relationship was surely one of many in Ambridge which shows you that flawed people can still make loving relationships work and that affection can become one of their redeeming qualities? As much as Will and Ed can be nasty and exasperating, I always believe that they wouldn't want harm to come to their respective partners.

Ugh. Very saddening episode. All that part with Will telling Nic they would go dancing every week, I know there's no comparison but my long term boyfriend/ex-fiance kept saying things like that right before he left me and the bravery of saying that on Will's part knowing that she was going to die...

Can someone tell me this isn't real please?

BoreOfWhabylon · 23/02/2018 23:10

Welcome back Pseudo Flowers

I think Will, in his grief, is going to start laying in to everyone who hurt Nic lately.

Excellent suggestion that Nic was witness, not perpetrator, to the Matt-mowing incident.

But whyohwhyohwhy could it not have been Pip or Hellin who got deaded?

Vango · 23/02/2018 23:11

What she said to Emma was unforgivable.

One out of character outburst in 11 years. Following an embarrassing reprimand from her boss.

NorthernLurker · 23/02/2018 23:13

It's not real but that doesn't mean it's not real

Mootsie · 23/02/2018 23:15

They're going to have to find another working class wife now.

CeciledeVolanges · 23/02/2018 23:16

"Just because it's all in your head Harry, doesn't mean it isn't real"

BikingBeatrix · 23/02/2018 23:22

Oh, l‘ll just scratch my mark on the doorpost as l come in. You are planning to decorate soon, aren‘t you DDD? Lovely to see you back, Pseudo. What a night. It‘s like a death in the family. I wonder how many animals at Brokefield will have died by morning if Toby doesn‘t alert the Dopeys.

GnotherGnu · 23/02/2018 23:37

The thing is, BOOP, that AntiBOOP was complaining about the clunkiness of ramping up the tragedy by having Will out of the room. Which is 100% down to the SWs.

SheepySheepy · 23/02/2018 23:38

It's all really made me feel hits sad. Silly.

SheepySheepy · 23/02/2018 23:38

Quite sad.

JimboDoesTheLimboInHawaii · 23/02/2018 23:47

Can't believe the SWs have made me feel sorry for Will Angry

Do we think Jake and Mia will get voiced now?

SusanWalker · 23/02/2018 23:50

I didn't think they'd kill her off. I was tearing up there.

I wonder if Poppy is not Wills child and that's what she was confessing. Then the real dad will turn up to take responsibility and Will will lose everything. But more likely to be the Matt thing.

Vango · 23/02/2018 23:50

Can't believe the SWs have made me feel sorry for Will

How can you not feel sorry for Will if you know the background? That’s what puzzles me.

EBearhug · 23/02/2018 23:58

I wonder how many animals at Brokefield will have died by morning if Toby doesn‘t alert the Dopeys.

I think Toby got the idea that it was bad, very bad.

JenTeale · 23/02/2018 23:59

Fuck! Nic deaded?!

goes back to sleep for another 5 years

JimboDoesTheLimboInHawaii · 23/02/2018 23:59

I didn't like the way he treated Nic. The background was hardly her fault. I found his attitude to women in the cricket team intolerable. But yeah, poor bloke...

EBearhug · 24/02/2018 00:01

I mean, I think Toby will have risen to the occasion on this occasion and done as he was told by Eddie.

What she said to Emma was unforgivable.

One out of character outburst in 11 years. Following an embarrassing reprimand from her boss.

Wasn't totally out of character, though - she hit George when she and Will were not long into their relationship. I think she improved over the years, but I think she was under quite a lot of stress lately, with the job and Emma and so on, and I think if you're going to snap, that's the time it will happen, lots of things, while manageable on their own, have a cumulative effect.

Vango · 24/02/2018 00:07

Re. Toby - they’d better not blame him if anything goes wrong. With the lambs! I hate going too far back in time but does anyone remember when Pip was so caught up with Spencer that she failed to check them for days and David eventually found dead ewes and lambs that had died of starvation?

AgnesSkinner · 24/02/2018 00:10

Good to see Eddie as a real stalwart taking charge rather than the turkey / cider light relief clown. I may have a soft spot for Eddie.

GetOffTheTableMabel · 24/02/2018 00:10

Massive plot spoiler thread title. My bath is ruined! Sad

Pumpkintopf · 24/02/2018 00:14

Very sad. Proper tears here!

DuckBilledAardvark · 24/02/2018 00:24

Bloody hell!

Was not expecting that!

LassWiADelicateAir · 24/02/2018 00:26

But whyohwhyohwhy could it not have been Pip or Hellin who got deaded?

What an unnecessary plot line this is.
