I really enjoyed Serial and the one with Catherine Keener (can't remember what it was called Blush)

Anything new - in the last year or so?

Has anyone mentioned Truth and Justice - hosted by Bob Ruff

DrRisotto · 14/02/2018 18:08

And wrongfully convicted by Jason Flom (I have no idea how to spell his name !)

Just found the serial killer podcasts
The episode about David Parker Ray
Is disturbing, narration of actual tapes he made for his victims are read out

Serial grossly misrepresented the truth as did Undisclosed and Bob Ruff - don't go there - they dismissed the dating violence that Hae Min Lee was subjected to. The trial transcripts clearly show Adnan Syed was guilty of her murder and is unrepentant and still fighting to clear his name - he clearly gas lighted Sarah Koenig.

Re recent podcast - Trace Podcast from ABC Australia is great as is Black Hands from NZ. I like Real Crime Profile as they comment on cases and mostly get it right - they still don't quite get the different forms of Coercive Control but better than most. There was also one by the LA Times called Dirty John.

Really enjoying 'School for Dumb Women', anyone else listening?

ginteresting , just come back on to say thank you for your recommendation of Athletico Mince - I love it - just like old Reeves and Mortimer. I’m singing “Hey it’s the fun bus” all day long!

I like IPM from radio 4 and more or less too

Listened to most of podcasts suggested over the last couple of years. However, "Crimetown" is very interesting if you enjoy "The Godfather" type movies. Really enjoyed it. Listening to it again as I wait for Series 2.

The Blindboy Podcast is really interesting. An eclectic podcast from an absurdist author, comedian and musician, it covers art history, mental health, short stories, politics, otters...

This thread has been the most useful thread ever on MN for me. So many great suggestions I'd never have known about. Thank you everyone who has contributed.

There’s a Podcast section under film and TV now, in case anyone hadn’t spotted it.

Ruffian · 15/04/2018 00:23

To all fans of Serial series 1 - in case you've missed it Adnan Syed has finally been granted a new trial!

OpheliaStorm · 15/04/2018 16:35

The BEST podcast for murder/mystery addicts is CASEFILE. Check it out.

The narrator's voice is just unbelievable (Aussie), and the cases reported on are treated with great respect. Some of them are truly memorable and often scary too.

Everywhere I look for recommendations for podcasts mentions this one. And I was not disappointed.

also love “Ramblings” with Clare Balding. I love listening to people chatting about their passions whilst Clare describes the lovely views on their walks. I’ve laughed and sobbed listening to some people’s stories, and I always learn something interesting!

My dad was on this! Got loads of airtime.

I still haven't managed to sort any podcast software Blush
But... just wanted to say the Life Scientific this morning was fascinating, and well worth a listen.
