Yes, it was great for Anisha to call Pip out on being a kid out of uni and a crap farmer. What a shame Rex got all riled and blew his date - I'd much rather go out with Anisha than Pip.

HomityBabbityPie · 13/05/2017 09:29

Eugh Pip is awful

redshoeblueshoe · 13/05/2017 10:05

I think Rex, Toby and Justin all showed their true colours last night.
Well done Anisha.

newnameoldme · 13/05/2017 10:10

i thought i'd kept up with every episode in last couple of weeks but was surprised to hear anisha and rex on a date in . when did that get arranged?? it took a while for me to recognise it was anisha - she usually sounds more scottish

RandomDent · 13/05/2017 10:17

Pip finally does the right thing, to be honest it would never end well.

Anisha annoys me, she seems to be one of those "tells it like it is" people with the subtlety of a brick. And she's going to find herself in trouble with those horses, being encouraged to say things about them she shouldn't. .

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 13/05/2017 10:31

Anisha is generally annoying but we are in sore need of someone who "tells it like it is" re Pip so a well deserved boop.

LeninaCrowne · 13/05/2017 10:32

At least Pip had the nous to shift Toby out of Rickyard first before giving him the flick.

redshoeblueshoe · 13/05/2017 11:02

Pip was vile, she was stupid to lie, but she even blames Toby for that. If she was 8 years old it would be understandable.
Telling Toby he had to get on with Rex Hmm whilst she treats all her family like shit.
I hope she does shag Rex, then realises that she never liked him in the first place.

Then everyone will see what a bitch she is. except her bloody family

Imbroglio · 13/05/2017 11:10

Pip has realised that her fling with Toby should have ended long ago but has become a stupid act of rebellion against her family. She has given him a million chances because she didn't want to be wrong.

I wanted Rex to get together with Anisha.

Ceto · 13/05/2017 11:57

Pip probably wanted to move Toby out of Rickyard first so that Jill won't find out - or at least not so quickly - and so she won't have to listen to her saying "Told you so".

AuldHeathen · 13/05/2017 13:57

Though at some point, I guess by the end of this week, Jill will be told about the split by somebody. Possibly Kenton or the daughters. In fact Anisha will tell Alistair, etc. Or she might even notice Toby's long face.

I don't actually care what happens. I think I'm just posting due my previous cold turkey experience. And because it's raining again.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 13/05/2017 16:14

As far as I could make out, Rex and Anisha had been out for a run and it was turning into a date before Tory's boorish return to the bungalow and his spiteful remarks to Rex, which were clearly designed at least in part to ruin any chance of Rex and Anisha getting closer.

I hope they both leave toot sweet, but I'd settle for just Toby. Really can't stand Pip but we're probably stuck with her. Sad

ppeatfruit · 14/05/2017 12:11

Yes we had a pet graveyard at the end of our garden too. I always wonder what the 'rip everything out' new inhabitants of our lovely old house made of it .

I was especially upset because they removed our pond which was full of frogs and toads in the spring. Effing vandals. So it served them right!

Vango · 14/05/2017 13:11

Someone I know, who knows about these things, had a listen for me this morning and said it sounds as if Pip's not "playing to the mic" in the way that other characters are (ie. "doing a little dance back and forth after delivering their lines").

Gallavich · 14/05/2017 13:16

Please let Rex be over Pip! He can't still fancy her surely? What a dope.

Anyone from Worcestershire- can you tell me whether the way she pronounces nothing is a regional thing or not? It was like nOthing, with the O pronounced as in off or on.

Abra1d · 14/05/2017 13:17

Going back to poor Bill, it seems out of character for Brian not to have owned up immediately.

Gallavich · 14/05/2017 13:19

He did didn't he? As soon as he realised he had done it.

TheAntiBoop · 14/05/2017 13:19

He did didn't he?

I think it was out of character for bill to be more than 10 yards from his feeding bowl

BertrandRussell · 14/05/2017 13:27

Why wouldn't Alasdair tell Anisha about Matt's dodgy past? And why is any deal Anisha does with Matt "none of Alaadair's business"?

Abra1d · 14/05/2017 13:32

Oh sorry, thought there was an implication that he had hit and run.

Abra1d · 14/05/2017 13:34

And why is any deal Anisha does with Matt "none of Alaadair's business"?

Yes, especially when it's taking place in business hours and on business premises.

C8H10N4O2 · 14/05/2017 13:38

Why wouldn't Alasdair tell Anisha about Matt's dodgy past?

At a guess because it would involve revealing his own part and the gambling problem which left him willing to dope horses.

Either of those if known up front might well have stopped Anisha going into partnership with him (as well as the personal shame aspects).

I don't understand why work for Matt would be not the partnership's business unless Anisha is working in some sort of personal capacity.

TheAntiBoop · 14/05/2017 13:39

No he was distracted so didn't compute he had hit a cat and only realised when Jenny said what had happened

It is alastairs business and reputation on the line too so all a bit weird

ppeatfruit · 14/05/2017 15:18

But Brine was lying through his teeth to Lynda about Bill's demise, who was buried in Peggy's garden under his favourite tree btw ( I've just caught up), why did a pp think otherwise?

So Rex and Pip are ready to make a go of things now, her acting is improving I reckon.

TheAntiBoop · 14/05/2017 16:57

He didn't lie to Lynda - he just didn't tell her the full story and I don't think he was obliged to!!

As for pip getting better at acting - can't hear it myself!!
