Except that Lynda will treat him as a hero rather than a penitent. Until someone who knows the truth and dobs him in it.

RandomDent · 14/05/2017 19:45

Loving the image of Molly Button's sewer mouth. Grin

Abra1d · 14/05/2017 19:58

Tom and Pip as a couple? 😗

HomityBabbityPie · 14/05/2017 19:58

Aren't tom and Pip related?!

Abra1d · 14/05/2017 20:39

Second cousins or first cousins once removed, i.e. their grandfathers were brothers.

Ceic · 14/05/2017 20:40

Tom and Pip are second cousins - they share a set of great grandparents. Probably not closely-related enough to be a worry.

echt · 14/05/2017 22:00

Ridiculous episode. In what universe has Toby ever spoken about a future together for him and Pip? As for the gin business enabling her farming to be part-time - is he on glue?

friskybivalves · 14/05/2017 22:29

How is Pip ever going to get her 5k back now she has kicked out Toby the cocklodger?

DadDadDad · 14/05/2017 22:39

Well, since the probability of her getting back the £5k when they were together looked to be zero, she can hardly decrease her chances of it happening! Grin

BertrandRussell · 14/05/2017 23:18

Brookfield a "hobby"? Fuck me!

ppeatfruit · 15/05/2017 08:34

Ah echt and Bert we all know Toby's a fool and he's now a fool with a badly damaged ego who says whatever enters his tiny mind.

Pip's well rid but will have to get him to sign a paper declaring his intentions to repay her 'loan'. Otherwise Judge Rinder will knock their heads together.

LillianGish · 15/05/2017 09:08

Can I just give a huge BOOP to "Things can't get any worse" "Shall I read you my poem?"

C8H10N4O2 · 15/05/2017 09:12

As for the gin business enabling her farming to be part-time - is he on glue?

No just endlessly self absorbed after a life of not having to depend on himself, maybe assuming the world loves him as much as he loves himself.

His attitude to the farm as a little light occupational therapy for Pip made me spit. Has Pip actually told Toby they have split up though? Or just told Tom and avoided Toby?

JigglyTuff · 15/05/2017 09:21

Yes she has told Toby they're over. Repeatedly.

I can't bear his self-pity. Perhaps he'll crash his van or whatever it is and die and Rex will take over the gin. And then the snack head ex girlfriend will be forgotten (and that is really so unlikely the more that we know him that he would take any responsibility or care for another person's addiction issues)

R4 · 15/05/2017 09:28

I heard the film yesterday so got the week compressed into 75 minutes. I was a little bemused at how fast we galloped from, at the beginning of the week, Pip talking to her mum about getting a flat share with Toby and then, by Friday, dumping him.
HKJ does seem to finish stories very quickly. At first I thought it was him tidying away SOC's unpopular storylines but I'm coming to the conclusion that maybe it's his style.

Yes Lillian that was a brilliant BOOP.Grin

ppeatfruit · 15/05/2017 12:09

I noticed Bert's line about the poem too, brilliant! ( He's a good actor, It was obvious that his tongue was firmly in his cheek).

Toby maybe broken hearted but him listening and or writing love poetry hardly!

ppeatfruit · 15/05/2017 12:11

I do like the SNACK head Jiggly ! Do you think she favours corn chips or crisps?

I'm still Team Toby. I can't bear Pip. Her voice sets my teeth on edge.

JigglyTuff · 15/05/2017 13:05

Team Toby??! I agree that Pip is loathsome but he is worse.

I think it's a Dorito addiction ppeatfruit Wink

My iPad is rather prim it seems - I've never tried to type smackhead before!

BertrandRussell · 15/05/2017 13:08

How can anyone been Team Toby??

Was that the truth about Brighton, by the way?

HomityBabbityPie · 15/05/2017 13:12

I'd only rather be on Pip's team if the opposing team was Rob's Grin

What struck me with yesterday's episode was Tom going on about not being able to meet the right partner. Err, clearly Kirsty was the right partner, only he screwed if up. Shock

AuldHeathen · 15/05/2017 13:33

For a brief moment I thought snack head referred to Pip. She is very keen on her gran's baking, especially flapjacks.
