Enjoy!

OP posts:

Flying in to say I love Anisha. And no way will Rex end up with Pip.

Vango · 06/06/2017 22:14

And, catching up, I like Freddie and Lily too. The exams conversation made me smile. Perfect.

TheAntiBoop · 06/06/2017 22:18

I don't like the way lily is voiced somehow but they have a much better sibling dynamic than the Brookfield brats

So anisha/Rex/pip love triangle - which one from the past are they mimicking?

Vango · 06/06/2017 22:21

Ed/Emma/Will?

Vango · 06/06/2017 22:23

More of a Toby/Pip/Rex prospect (God help us)!

AuldHeathen · 06/06/2017 22:41

Update. According to my husband Cameron Fraser was 'posh Edinburgh'.

TheAntiBoop · 06/06/2017 22:45

Soooo

Is anisha Alastair
Rex is Shula
Pip is doc Locke
Toby is usha?

That doesn't sound right....

I guess you're right that it's the sibling love triangle issue again - I've never known this happen in real life

choccyp1g · 07/06/2017 07:32

Apart from that Welsh footballer who must not be named?

LillianGish · 07/06/2017 08:22

Pip is going to end up with Rex. That's the whole reason the Fairbrethren were introduced. I'm wondering if Anisha might get together with Latif who keeps being mentioned and is obviously very horsey and trying to think what the plot implications of that would be.

TheAntiBoop · 07/06/2017 08:33

He's a bit old for her isn't he?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 07/06/2017 08:55

Cameron Fraser was played by an English actor with one of the worst Scottish accents I've ever heard. Nails on a blackboard.

Vango · 07/06/2017 08:55

I'm hoping someone's had a change of heart Lillian.

Ceto · 07/06/2017 09:02

I loved Lynda using Speedwatch for a bit of gentle arm twisting on Justin and Brian.

And how typical of Justin to assume that a chap must be OK because he went to the same school as his ex-wife's brother in law. As if the public school system has never produced a fraudster, ever ...

LillianGish · 07/06/2017 10:44

Vango - I'm hoping so too. You've caught me on a resigned day Grin. How old is Latif meant to be? I think the actor who plays him is about 45 - the fact they keep mentioning him and he's been cast makes me think they have plans for him.

AuldHeathen · 07/06/2017 14:19

I suppose Anisha could be early to mid-30s and Latif could be 10 years older, so not an impossible gap (says the woman with a 14 1/2 year gap). Thanks for the reminder about the bad accent of Cameron Fraser, GaspOde. I sort of vaguely remember it too, though I fear the aged Englishman might not have noticed. I will ask him later. Smile

TheAntiBoop · 07/06/2017 14:25

There aren't many ethnic minority characters in ta - do they have to be lumped together?

If she is early to mid thirties is she older than Rex then? The fairbrethren seem to have a mysterious age but I reckon they must be in their thirties? When was lizzies affair with their dad?

LillianGish · 07/06/2017 15:18

I was thinking of them having horses in common rather than their ethnic origins - anyway Anisha is Sri Lankan isn't she? Not sure about Latif, but not Sri Lankan.

TheAntiBoop · 07/06/2017 15:26

Isn't her mum Sri Lankan and her dad white Scottish?

TheAntiBoop · 07/06/2017 16:11

No idea about Latif but I was thinking he'd be more a target for Lizzie for some reason!

I fear I may have to stop listening. Just how on earth are we supposed to regard her as an attractive person in any way? I really really don't like her. She's nasty. Every time she opens her mouth it's to have a dig at Josh, talk about herself or whinge. Gah. I can't stand it any more!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 07/06/2017 19:18

I have no recollection that we were ever told about Anisha being mixed race.

Put me in the couldn't-care-less camp re Rex/Anisha/Toby/Pip. Much happier about the possibility of a mega row at Bridge Farm over the money.

AuldHeathen · 07/06/2017 19:20

My thoughts too, Vango. Also tom being somewhat unlikeable again. Rex should keep up his running with Anisha so he can run very fast from Pip.

TheAntiBoop · 07/06/2017 20:08

I don't know her surname! Wasn't there some ridiculous story about her dad meeting her mum when he was working over there - ridiculous because it seemed to be evoking colonial times! I admit I may have dreamt that. Every this a bit hazy at the minute!!
