Thank you R4 for the title.

OP posts:
Gherkinsmummy · 02/04/2017 11:08

And what is wrong with Lilian? She's behaving like a 17 year old

Imbroglio · 02/04/2017 11:24

A bit of bling. Bingo.

Halsall · 02/04/2017 11:30

If Ed does let something slip, what's the betting Pip will have a mighty strop with him - because he 'promised' to keep it quiet - rather than blaming herself for not owning up? She's such a weasel, I wouldn't be at all surprised.

Gherkinsmummy · 02/04/2017 11:38

What's Pip's status? Is she an employee or a partner? If the former, perhaps she could be sacked and leave Ambridge forever.

Mootsie · 02/04/2017 12:57

If Pip were working for a farming company and not her parents she'd be facing a disciplinary at the very least.

Can't wait for Ed to put a spanner in it for her.

selsigfach · 02/04/2017 16:36

She's an employee. On quitting the Brazil job after 2 minutes, she was adamant she wouldn't be relying on Dave and Ruth for full-time work, she'd have her own projects. Well that really worked out well, didn't it?

Megatherium · 02/04/2017 17:20

Well, this should solve Pip's problem about finding money to invest in cattle of the herbal leys. I can't imagine Adam will be too keen in letting her loose on his land now.

redshoeblueshoe · 02/04/2017 17:24

I expect Tom will get a whole lot angrier if he thinks the IBR caused Kirsty's miscarriage.

AuldHeathen · 02/04/2017 18:02

Maybe it was the stress of thinking they'd got awayfrom Pip, then being rounded up first thing in the morning by an annoyed Tobee who kept talking about a cooked breakfast (that must make livestock feel a bit vulnerable) that made them all drop some spores on the way back out the field. Grin

Last week I did do a quick search on whether IBR can be passed to humans - found no evidence that it can. And anyway Kirsty and Tom's baby died before the cows showed symptoms. And when did K visit Brookfield?

redshoeblueshoe · 02/04/2017 18:59

Auld Grin loving the thought of the cows trying to escape from Pip

AuldHeathen · 02/04/2017 19:12

'I don't want to be here' is anew version of 'I can't deal with this'. Weird that she'd forget about Ed.

Imbroglio · 02/04/2017 19:19

Ed is definitely going to tell someone. And soon.

TheAntiBoop · 02/04/2017 19:20

My six year old thinks she can run away from a problem. My ten year old has learnt he can't. So to me pip is mentally between a 6&10 year old

Mootsie · 02/04/2017 19:55

I really dislike Josh. How many mothers wouldn't fire back with, 'Don't talk to me like that!' after making their son a coffee and delivering it to their room? Angry

Ruth lets them walk all over her.

He also moaned about having to load the dishwasher but then hoped Gran had made a cake.

Horrible kids.

IAmNotAUserNumber · 02/04/2017 20:14

I had hoped that Josh would be a better person than Pip, but clearly not. I have DC's of similar age so the moaning about noise sounded very familiar but the way he spoke to Ruth, and she accepted it, was awful. horrid Pip, horrid Josh.
Did anyone notice what music Ben was playing?

TheAntiBoop · 02/04/2017 20:16

Ben has to be the nice one surely? There can't be three can there!!

Imbroglio · 02/04/2017 22:10

Ben probably has a hydroponics marijuana operation going on in the attic.

RamGoatLiver · 02/04/2017 22:35

Yea, he could team up with Jill to make hash brownies for the festival season.

Imbroglio · 02/04/2017 22:38

He's probably the mastermind behind Toby's Brighton runs.

redshoeblueshoe · 02/04/2017 22:46

Anti - my GD is nearly 8,and she knows that sometimes you just have to fess up and accept the consequences now I feel old Blush

TheAntiBoop · 03/04/2017 11:12

As my 6yo has the grace to look guilty as she knows she shouldn't be running off - I reckon that puts pup at the mental maturity of a 5yo!

redshoeblueshoe · 03/04/2017 11:55

Anti great new name Pip the Pup.

Megatherium · 03/04/2017 13:21

Josh is going to start demanding his own house just like Pip soon, so that he has somewhere peaceful from which to run his business empire. Given her recent contributions to the farm business, he'd probably be entirely justified.

Mootsie · 03/04/2017 13:40

Do they not have a farm office at Brookfield?

EBearhug · 03/04/2017 13:49

Yes, they do - at one point, having been chucked out of the kitchen and dining room by Jill, Josh was kicked out of the office by David, so David could do some farm paperwork. This was when Josh objected to being told to use his room like a schoolboy doing homework.
