FinallyHere I know IRL women often do go back to their abusers but this is different: she nearly KILLED him and publicly branded him a rapist. I cannot see how she can go back now she has acknowledged he raped her.

The conversation he had with her after the verdict I took as an intimidation attempt as it was basically sexual, and dramatic salaciousness - something to play with the listeners' emotions - a scare after the relief of the verdict etc.

More pragmatically, I suspect the SWs will feel they've done that storyline and won't want to revisit it.

Yes - Kirsty failed to point out that while women (in general) like men who like animals (in general), it helps to be genuine - if you're not keen on having pets, you're not going to be impressing women once they find our it was all a charade. It's a bit too much like lying and gives an impression of being untrustworthy. OTOH, I wouldn't believe most of what I read in an OLD profile anyway, so perhaps it makes no odds.
