I've not been listening since Helen got a QC. Not even interested in reading updates. Just came on to peek (thanks for keeping the thread updated!) and it seems I shan't be listening for the near future. I listened everyday for years, but simply no point anymore.

A whole village and for weeks we only hear Helen, can, rob, pat, Tony, Anna, carol, fairbrethren, pip, josh. Occasional david and ruth, Brian, JD, adam, Lilian, grundys. Alice once or twice.

No jolene, Kenton, Kathy, Shula, ed, will, nic, emma, elizabeth, Ian, chris, Neil not much fallon, Kirsty.....

SOC's first episode as Executive Producer on EE airs next week. So if he's still editing the Archers, it's pretty obvious that at best he's just phoning it in.

My prediction, based on reading Lowfield not listening. Anna will offer to stand down, explaining why. Helen will refuse on the grounds that what Anna has told her means that she trusts Anna to understand how awful Rob is. Helen will open up and the defence will progress apace bringing healing to both women (boak).

Not listening. Lowfield only for me from now on.

I don't think it's quite as long as that, is it? Didn't KD say something about writing scripts around 10 weeks ahead, or am I imagining it?

I can't actually remember what I last read about their schedule - but I'm certain that there would have been some concerted effort to ensure that SOC's plans for his favourite story would be carried out.

I am so sad that TA has degenerated into such rubbish, terrible writing, no continuity of personality of characters who have been around for years, no knowledge of past events, it is the end of an era.

I have been listening for nearly 40 years and I feel cheated.
