Not breast feeding is going to make it so much easier for Rob to have the baby though, isn't it?
Doesn't it increase the dramatic tension as the hearing looms? A contented, breast feeding baby would stay with Helen, especially as that is the purpose of MBUs. No opportunity for cliffhangers and Pat wailing.
Helen's barrister who knows she is anxious leaves a message just before she goes into court saying Helen needs to call urgently. Helen calls. Anna drops the bombshell that Rob wants her baby as well as Henry. Helen also has to appear at the hearing which send H into meltdown. Anna says she hasn't much time and has to go. Helen is distraught. Enter the kindly fellow prisoner. Heart of gold and accent to match. Helen opens up.... eventually.
As others have pointed out Anna should not be the one communicating with Helen anyway. I was less bothered by that as I assumed Anna the SHWL had good levels of empathy and would get Helen to talk. Last night she showed zero empathy and less than zero emotional intelligence. Helen needs a better barrister
'Downton Abbey' as a reference point must be one of the worst pieces of dialogue ever. Keri can write decent scripts, so I'm blaming the editor.
And then we have Lillian and JD. The relief road may still destroy Brookfield and yet JD, Boudica, sees the news only in relation to David.
I no longer recognise the show, and share the 'get me out of here' sentiment.
