Still, Sasha=non HelRob SL

BYOSnowman · 09/03/2016 19:12

Don't mean to be ageist but dr Locke sounds too old to have a teenage daughter. Sounds like a grandad to me! So I guess she will move in with her dad to add a young lady to the mix - not sure how they will expunge the mother

Fairbrothers firmly entrenched then. Bleurgh.

Boomingmarvellous · 09/03/2016 19:14

Dr Locke and Elizabeth? Not Shula ?

BYOSnowman · 09/03/2016 19:15

Helen? Htf is she the first name that springs to mind?

Gruach · 09/03/2016 19:18

Think of the drama Booming.Grin I've been waiting ages for this story to start.

spiker · 09/03/2016 19:18

Cheese?

ColdTeaAgain · 09/03/2016 19:20

She sounds too young for the Fairbrothers....Freddie? Josh?

Stickerrocks · 09/03/2016 19:20

Perhaps we're about the get the classic love triangle/square back. Alistair is permanently at work, although Shula has mentioned him missing any major family events recently. Elizabeth needs a good man back in her life after her Lady Chatterley experience. There's lots of scope for noses being put out of joint and misunderstandings to lighten things up after the HellRob fiasco.

BYOSnowman · 09/03/2016 19:23

Elizabeth will get it on with dickie. Shula will be annoyed but as she's married have to try and hide it.

Sacha will get it on with Freddie and the parents will catch them en flagrante causing a fall out

ColdTeaAgain · 09/03/2016 19:25

I think Shula was a red herring possibly. Wonder how things are with her and Alister these days? We barely hear from them anymore.

LowDudgeon · 09/03/2016 19:27

That's one of the problems with an obsessive storyline like HelRob taking up so much time (as well as annoying so many people)

Shula acted as hostess at Richard's housewarming, didn't she? We should have had snippets about them/Alistair in the meantime to keep us in the frame. As it is, Shula could have Alistair under the patio by now

GruntledOne · 09/03/2016 19:50

KLAXON - Hellrob free episode today.

GruntledOne · 09/03/2016 19:51

How old is DocLocke's daughter? Is she likely to be susceptible to Toby's dubious charms? Or do we think she's lined up for Josh?

BYOSnowman · 09/03/2016 19:58

Dan is 21 and was how old when de Locke treated him for juvenile arthritis?

He left soon after that so if we assume sasha was born three years later she must be 10-15

BYOSnowman · 09/03/2016 19:59

So too young for the fairbrothers unless they want to go down another disturbing sl route

I think Freddie - parents and children getting it on

TeenAndTween · 09/03/2016 20:08

Gruntled Thank you. I now know it is safe to listen tomorrow lunchtime.

Swirlingasong · 09/03/2016 20:09

Haven't listened this evening but if we have a new teenage girl, I would like her to lead the Button girls astray (imagine they are getting to early teens by now?) I love a good silent storyline.

Swirlingasong · 09/03/2016 20:17

Or Ruari (sp?), how old is he? He must be allowed home for Easter, surely.

ColdTeaAgain · 09/03/2016 20:20

Well while she was in the shop Clarrie said shouldn't she be at school, so my guess is she's about 14/15. Perfect match for Freddie Wink

Love how desperate we are to talk about anything other than HelRob Grin

LowDudgeon · 09/03/2016 20:20

Lead the Button girls astray?

Surely vice versa!

ColdTeaAgain · 09/03/2016 20:24

Tbh I have a feeling Sasha is going to give Pip a run for her money for Ambridges number one pain in the arse. The whining about the buses sets the tone. Countryside village girl she is not Grin

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 09/03/2016 20:29

Ruairi is about 13 now. I see the klaxon has sounded! What a relief.

SOC was involved with TA before during Vanessa Whitburn's long reign. He was a producer, which involves storylining. My understanding is that the storyline is ultimately set by the Editor, after prolonged discussion between the whole team (producers, scriptwriters, Editor, archivist when they had had one). Then it has to go the head of Radio 4 for approval.

VW was editor from 1991 to 2013. She came from Brookside, of course, but hadn't been there long.

Minimammoth · 09/03/2016 20:34

Countryside village v townies, happens regularly in our village. Someone has just complained that the cows are huddled together in mud and are bellowing.

Minimammoth · 09/03/2016 20:35

Sorry that is not aArcher related, but it made me Grin

ColdTeaAgain · 09/03/2016 20:36

So just er...being cows then Grin
