I think they might do a murder storyline as they never have, but probably not Helen doing Rob in or vice versa. Horrible to contemplate but they could have a scenario where Ian kills Rob (catches him beating Helen, blames him for his tainted marriage) or Rob attacks or kills someone close to Helen like Kirsty or Pat. :(

And once Rob's out of the way - a custody battle between Helen and Ursula.

I think something awful will happen around the home birth.
Either that or disaster will be narrowly averted because someone (Tom? Pat? Kirsty?) somehow stumbles on what is happening and calls the midwife/ambulance in the nick of time.

Actually - thinking back, I wasn't allowed a home birth because I have a history of anaemia.

I can't really believe that Helen has been "approved" given her awful obstetric history, so it sounds as if the whole thing is a big lie and the midwife/obstetrician etc aren't even in on it.

I think that's maybe part of it Helen thinks Rob wants it so she's going along with it and not mentioning it to her HCPs but then Rob will hold that against her as well. But she just thinks she's trying to do what he wants.

Just listened to the film and have to say it was even more chilling the second time around. To some extent I can accept that Rob believes his own spin and reacts to how he sees the world around him, he probably genuinely feels let down that Helen hasn't turned out to be the fantasy fragrant woman in the dress. But Ursula is pure evil. She is so calculating.

If knob is anything like my ex he believes Hellins role is to make him happy, bolster is self esteem, defer to him as the master, look beautiful all the time (but only for him) god forbid she dresses to attract other men, ask for nothing but celebrate his successes (even if she has been excluded), keep the house spotless and cook whatever he likes, and NEVER EVER EVER question his decisions.

His role is to provide for his family financially. End of.

I want Knob to be completely unmasked. I want Hellin to see everything he has done, and how she was manipulated. Its only by her recognising every single thing he has done that she will be able to see its actually his fault and not hers.

People need to start seriously suspecting, and talk to each other and probably step in at some crucial moment or overhear R and U talking horribly to or about Henry.

The speech I wanted Helen to give Rob was "Fuck off you fucking twat, I'm off; you and your nasty mother can butt out of my life, and you are never, ever to go near Henry again. And why don't you go and get a proper job while you're at it, you massive freeloading pathetic excuse for a human being"

I'd love to hear Rob's tangled web unravel and for him to be the one seeing a psychiatrist.

What I would detest is for Ursula to get the blame. At the moment she seems to be the one dictating how things go. I'm pretty sure she engineered the burnt toad in the hole, the ever so slight scald to Henwee, alientating H from his mother, the home birth, boarding school. He's following her lead rather than initiating these things and she's giving him ammunition to fling at Helen.

If Helen told any one the truth now as she sees it she might say that Ursula is oppressing her, making her do stupid things that make Rob worry about her, stealing Henry's affections. She would be right in a way.

Exactly, Booming. It's hard to see how she could ever convince anyone that it's a hardship especially as she's not convinced herself yet. What I mean is that in her head at the moment it is Ursula who is taking over all aspects of her life and especially the birth so if Helen were to speak to someone and try to identify what is upsetting her most it would almost certainly be Ursula's presence in the house, not Rob.

Just a theory, but in my mind Arsula's appearance has made things worse for Hel because, not only is she winding Hel up, but it's making Knob look more like the good guy - the reasonable one upon whom Hellin can lean.

I don't want him to die. I want him to be exposed and to suffer. Alot and for a very long time. A pariah.
