It's utterly ludicrous when the new cows are in the process of being delivered. That's precious time that could be used by Helen asking how come Knob doesn't hate his mother any more, that is.

Surely when you shut the hens in is when you do the water top up, fencing check etc? Also before you let them out again check security/predators. I don't have hens but I have, erm, hen sat occasionally

I was also under the impression that when you shut the hens up for the night that's when you check that all's well but as I don't have hens - only geese (wild) and ducks I'm no expert.

BYOS it seems the Fairbrothers are living in the caravan, which David was horrified to see parked on Hollowtree farmyard, and made them promise it was for emergency stopovers only.
It would also seem that Rex is driving a tractor around the yard. Why????

BYOS the hens that I look after occasionally do put themselves to bed around dusk - but there have sometimes been stragglers pecking that last peck and looking tempting to foxes who have to be ushered in.
