Fat fingers on iphone sorry!

NotdeadyetBOING · 21/02/2016 16:17

A silent cafetiere?

Tootyfilou · 21/02/2016 16:26

Yes I thought about that Smile.
But I do think Jenny would like the latest thing in coffee making , and I bet you can buy some lovely coffee beans in Underwoods.

toldmywrath · 21/02/2016 16:41

Wouldn't MrsDDD be MrsMMM though ? Grin Comes in way too late on the thread

toldmywrath · 21/02/2016 16:44

I think us omnibus listeners might have a slightly different view of things -especially when it comes to crap badly written episodes. They are sort of blended out in the hour & quarter.

Arseula is so pantomimey, I agree with you all (& Philip Pulman)

The stuff that goes unsaid is shocking & frustrating to us listeners.

redshoeblueshoe · 21/02/2016 16:49

tolmywrath you must have just had a marathon read - I said that days ago sorry MrsMMM or MrsDDD Grin

BYOSnowman · 21/02/2016 16:56

I'm not sure I could have sat through the omnibus of last weeks terrible writing!!

enochroot · 21/02/2016 17:29

Does anyone know the name of the actress playing Ursula? The voice is sort of familiar to me. Her false teeth seem to stick.

I won't be surprised if Timothy Watson is offered a part in EE soon which might mean Rob is written out of TA.

Just think, eventually he might do Strictly! Won't that be weird?

toldmywrath · 21/02/2016 17:35

Yup it was a marathon catch up redshoeblueshoe. It was very interesting reading everyone's thoughts on Ursula as I already knew that she really was Arseula!

toldmywrath · 21/02/2016 17:38

No thanks to TW on Strictly- badly done enochroot Wink

JessTitchener · 21/02/2016 18:14

I've had to wait since Friday to hear this episode and all I can say is....REALLY???

Of course every abusive man is created by a woman, why did it take us so long to realise that. FFS.

YY to Jessica Dromogle (sp?) but I think she's probably quite busy.
We'll likely get Phil Redmond and there will be bodies under the patio by Christmas.

Although if one of those bodies were Knob or Peep I doubt anyone will mind.

Gruach · 21/02/2016 18:20

Oh. That's an interesting thought. Who might SOC steal away from Ambridge?

They already have old-Kate ...

I can quite see Eleanor Bron as a gangster mom - perhaps a Mitchell MIL?

Matt - a natural Eastender.

Charlie - arrives in Albert Sq in a suit; flash car, nice flat up West. 6 months later he's a broken man selling knock off tech from a market stall, kipping on Phil's floor ...

I do think Pip deserves her shot at BAFTA glory ...

enochroot · 21/02/2016 18:22

I'm so sowwy. (snivel)

BYOSnowman · 21/02/2016 18:31

Assuming pip is in awe of the pip actress and that's why he gave her such a big role when she isn't very good - maybe we can hope he will poach her for ee. She must be a better screen actress

I don't think doc was capable of hiring radio actors tbh

BYOSnowman · 21/02/2016 18:41

That should read 'soc is in awe of...'

KingscoteStaff · 21/02/2016 19:07

Hoorah, Carol's back!

BYOSnowman · 21/02/2016 19:11

I guess Helen won't be going to the birthday supper

BYOSnowman · 21/02/2016 19:12

Ursula holding her hostage as well then

Stickerrocks · 21/02/2016 19:20

Surely alarm bells would start to ring for Helen when having just told Ursula how significant Tom's birthday is, that she would just pick something up for her. Helen - shopping is not too strenuous for you - see the light, please.

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 21/02/2016 19:21

Don't give Ursula info she will use it agaibst you!@

Why though, was she telling Kirsty that yarn about Henwee?

R4 · 21/02/2016 19:24

What was all that about? Have the SW only just noticed that Lent started eleven days ago.

Marchate · 21/02/2016 19:26

Poor Henry, afraid in his bed now following the obedience pep talk. What a shame for the poor wee boy

Stickerrocks · 21/02/2016 19:26

Perhaps she's hoping to make Helen look like a bad mother. I'm waiting for Rob to tell Henry that bed wetting is disobedient and Daddy and new Grandma will have to punish him

BYOSnowman · 21/02/2016 19:35

i would hope the alarming bells will be ringing extremely loudly if she misses the dinner

Stickerrocks · 21/02/2016 19:37

Poor wee boy has made me giggle in a very politically incorrect way.
