Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/02/2016 19:17

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! Angry

Gruach · 19/02/2016 19:18

Today is the day TA tipped itself into nonsense.

W. T. F.?

AnnieNoMouse · 19/02/2016 19:18

Shock Confused Angry

Boomingmarvellous · 19/02/2016 19:18

Ursuline and rob are both twirling their mustaches!

GypsyFl0ss · 19/02/2016 19:18

I had initally typed oh shit and managed to post it on a S&B thread!

FinestGrundyTurkey · 19/02/2016 19:19

It would be more logical to use Worcester but Felpersham = Worcester? (Racecourse, cathedral etc). So it never gets mentioned.

GypsyFl0ss · 19/02/2016 19:20

What a big pile of bolleaux that all is now.

SealSong · 19/02/2016 19:20

Now that was just ridiculous.

FinestGrundyTurkey · 19/02/2016 19:20

Oh dear, I have clearly missed something! (Haven't listened yet)

BYOSnowman · 19/02/2016 19:20

Another poorly written episode too. Wtf is going on.

They are going to turn what could have been a sensitively done EA sl into a load of eastenders bollocks.

phoebemac · 19/02/2016 19:20

I agree with BYO that was poor. Jumped the shark is the phrase that springs to mind.

phoebemac · 19/02/2016 19:23

And yes they have wasted an opportunity by tipping the EA storyline in panto villain melodrama.

PseudoBadger · 19/02/2016 19:23

Quick synopsis please? DD had a nap until 4.30 so bedtime will be going on for the foreseeable...

SealSong · 19/02/2016 19:23

They could have just wrecked the storyline with this stupidity.

enochroot · 19/02/2016 19:24

I was distracted by the thought that Matt had moved the chair in the Dower House and was in hiding!
You know, the cliche where he returns but Lillian's moved on?

LillianGish · 19/02/2016 19:24

It might just have been acceptable had we never met or heard anything about Ursula before (though still melodramatic). In view of Ursula's previous appearances it is just nonsense - surely they don't need an archivist for recent storylines? Whoever wrote the dinner party and its aftermath must still be there.

BYOSnowman · 19/02/2016 19:25

Lots of v short badly written scenes

Kirsty visits Helen and has a nice time. Ursula drops Henry at Sarah and drews (relevant?) and then calls Robert and agrees that Kirsty is not a good prescience and must be kept away and how wise he was to notice this

Load of old crap

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 19/02/2016 19:25

Oh FFS that was ridiculous.

Surely the whole point is that you don't have to be a villain to be an abusive prick. They are boringly common and ordinary pathetic little people not Bond baddies.

Yes, the families of abusive people are sometimes a nightmare in their own right but they are usually monumentally self centered so not given to cooperating. Yeah they might pile on and gang up in the moment or manipulate others to do their dirty work but not that kind of conscious, planned, badness.

GypsyFl0ss · 19/02/2016 19:26

Pseudo I only caught the second half where Kirsty was visiting Helen and met Ursula, lots of pleasantries with K saying how nice U was. U took Henry to some friend's house and we overhear her phoning Rob from car saying she agrees with him about how bad friend K is to H and how he needs to deal with her asap.

BoreOfWhabylon · 19/02/2016 19:26

What happened? I missed it!

Presumably Arseula has revealed herself in all her tentacled horror then?

BoreOfWhabylon · 19/02/2016 19:28

Ah. Thanks all.

Ludicrous.

Shark. Jumped.

(the crystal ball was right, then)

GypsyFl0ss · 19/02/2016 19:29

They haven't a clue what they're doing with this story and it's just turned in to a complete farce.

AnnieNoMouse · 19/02/2016 19:31

I was distracted by the thought that Matt had moved the chair in the Dower House and was in hiding! You know, the cliche where he returns but Lillian's moved on?
You mean like Scruff? Grin

Well TA has finally turned into victorian gothic melodrama - is tonight's episode why SOC got the push, I mean, decided to go?

enochroot · 19/02/2016 19:31

Moving an ornament is a sure sign of villainy.
