So what do we think was going on in Brighton with one of the Fairbrethren? Was he the rugby player or the investment banker?

BYOSnowman · 22/01/2016 20:12

He had a job in the city which his daddy probably got him and he lost after they realised he's thick as shit

Probably an addiction to rock

I meant stick of

Far too naive to know what you are suggesting....

But seriously - perhaps the SWs (and their editor) are still arguing about what happens in Brighton.

AdventuresOfADentist · 22/01/2016 21:16

I think other people listen to Dumtedum so have probably picked this up, but a couple of weeks ago when Rob met Dr Locke at a party (maybe his drinks party) and he said how he thought he had met Rob before and we all thought it was weird for him to say that (patient confidentiality and all that), well apparently that was due to a scriptwriting error. When they were doing the scene the actors pointed out that the characters had actually met before, hence that clunky line. According to KD.

Stickerrocks · 22/01/2016 21:20

Never been to Brighton. Isn't it where Chris & Alice went for Ambridge Extra?

Travelledtheworld · 22/01/2016 21:39

Brighton Rock. It's Gang Crime then .

Travelledtheworld · 22/01/2016 21:42

Gruach I had never associated Lillian with Riding or any other country sports. Drinking, shopping and property speculating, yes. ( plus a bit of discrete shagging around, remember poor Paul?)

Minimammoth · 22/01/2016 21:45

Adventures that doesn't give me a lot of confidence in theSW, it shows that the charachters are not important and no one is holding the archive. But we knew that didn't we.

EBearhug · 22/01/2016 21:47

Oh, we've had scenes in the past with Lilian riding with Shula, and Alice, I think. She's always been into riding, even if it hasn't always been that evident.

PseudoBadger · 22/01/2016 21:49

Title suggestions please....

How far back are you going Travelled? Lil was point to pointing in 1971 and I imagine there's some rural life in the Channel Islands which were her home for 30 odd years. She wasn't lying when she said she's a country girl at heart.

Gruach · 22/01/2016 22:01

Ohhhh ... There was a thing - a title worthy thing somebody said. I've forgotten. Sad

Good grief. I am shocked to the core. How could they forget that so quickly? It was only a few months ago.

The Archers. BOGOF! Every Meal at Ambridge Organics Cafe comes with a Complimentary, Fun Filled, Blossom Hill Banquet. Yours to Enjoy at 7.02 Exactly. Don't bring your mother. Or your only remaining friend.

Or, shorter: The Archers; An Oxbridge Thread for Oxbridge People.

Actually. It occurs to me that Rob definitely isn't an Oxbridge graduate or we would have heard all about it. Phoebe had better pray she never bumps into him in a dark ally.

Eastpoint · 22/01/2016 22:57

Lilian has her own horse, I can't remember it's name but I'm sure someone will be bothered.

Gruach · 22/01/2016 23:02

Hadn't she been riding Spearmint for Invisible Alice in the recent past?

EssexMummy1234 · 22/01/2016 23:05

I loved tonight "women make bad choices sometimes, but that doesn't mean they don't know about predator proofing"

Gruach · 22/01/2016 23:20

The Archers. No need to share the thread with anyone else - we can have a lovely time with just us darling. Once Henry's in bed.

PseudoBadger · 22/01/2016 23:24

"I just want you to listen to The Archers because I love you darling. You know it's for the best"

Why do we have to be subjected to so much sliminess in a regular basis - and why do all the women fall for it"
