Blimey this thread moves FAST. I watched a bit of Corrie at Xmas at my DMs, and a lot of the old living actors are back (I reckon the producers are desperate and bring them back to regain some old viewers ) it doesn't work for me though.

I'm afraid Justin looks just like Simon Williams in my head, mainly because the voice is so distinctive. Though I was a bit disappointed in Silent Witness to hear Ian's voice coming out of someone who was totally unlike my picture of him.

Another yay for the acknowledgment of Nolly's existence. It sounds like she's got Phoebe's work ethic. I wonder whether they're paving the way for her to come over to the UK so she can attend the school that got Phoebe an offer for Oxford.

Oh yes he definitely sounds like Simon Williams, nothing like that fat actor who was married to Audrey in Corrie, he 'ad a great northern accent for a start!

It made me laugh this morning when I realised the only two non white women attached to Ambridge are both attached to the Vicar. Almost as if no one else could possibly tolerate such an outrageous invasion.

I'm still convinced that Justin is going to buy Grange Farm. He'll also buy up a load of other properties in Borsetshire and will employ Lills to manage them.

BYOS - really - you must be younger than you look seriously you never watched Upstairs Downstairs. How anyone could compare Fred Elliott and Justin Elliot is beyond me now everyone knows I really am old

I have just realised that as far as I am concerned Ian looks like Diarmuid Gavin when slightly younger.

In my head Sid looked like Fred Elliott.
