We love Charlie. But we want Adam and Ian to get married. What will happen in Ambridge in the pre-Christmas thread?

Just listened to Friday - we are 2 weeks from Christmas and David didn't even ask whether Ruth will be back by then?

I get the impression Adam fancied Charlie but there were no love feelings. They were one way!

EBearhug · 14/12/2015 17:25

Do you think a mènage á trois for Adam, Ian and Charlie would be a compromise too far?

EBearhug · 14/12/2015 17:28

(Not sure I got those accents right.)

enochroot · 14/12/2015 17:51

Oh, no threesomes please!

enochroot · 14/12/2015 17:57

Charlie has mellowed quite a lot with Adam's influence. He's less intolerant than he was, able to appreciate another point of view.
Adam's had someone to talk to about his plans for the farm who really understands the issues.
They've both benefited from what has been a genuine friendship and Ian is wise enough to recognise that. It's such a pity that Charlie has a broken heart and that Rob has found a way to hurt Ian.

I listened again this afternoon and noticed that as Rob started talking to Ian, George Michael's Last Christmas struck up in the background. Very apt Xmas Grin

Imbroglio · 14/12/2015 18:46

ew, Bearhug!

YeOldeTrout · 14/12/2015 19:08

Ian is a conservative Irish boy at heart, so Menage a Trois unlikely.
Let's continue to plot Rob's spectacular demise. I just hope Ian has a hefty role in it!!

ha! Rob feels foiled. Let's gleefully take delight in that.

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 14/12/2015 19:14

Twat. Mentioning the dress just because the wedding went ahead.

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 14/12/2015 19:15

In your face Knob!!

elpth · 14/12/2015 19:15

Not sure why Rob had to propose that toast but it served him right!

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 14/12/2015 19:16

I hope Ian married him just to spite Rob.

Gruach · 14/12/2015 19:17

So Justin wants to sound Brian out about giving Rob the manager's job?

BYOSnowman · 14/12/2015 19:17

Question for the lawyers here

If Ian and Adam were to separate would they have to break two agreements (cp and marriage)? Or has the marriage superseded the cp?

CuttedUpPear · 14/12/2015 19:19

The one thing I don't understand is...

Who gets married on a Monday ffs?

Seriouslyffs · 14/12/2015 19:19

So who made the toast? Brian had conveniently gone to the loo and Jenny was sitting with Helen and Rob, was Jenny nudging him to do it? They all sound so similar!

Gruach · 14/12/2015 19:24

The Civil Partnership is converted into a marriage BYOS.

Toomuchtea · 14/12/2015 19:26

Rob did the toast. Rather reluctantly, but he did it.

Toomuchtea · 14/12/2015 19:27

Smallegs, the bitching about H's dress just because the wedding went ahead turned my stomach.
