I can't resist alliteration Wink

Yes I do nicestsmile. I don't understand why Jill's being funny with them because it's not their fault, I understand why she doesn't like their family though.

When will Jess appear back on the scene with the child I wonder?

peppapissinpig · 10/08/2015 20:24

Do we know for a fact that the baby isn't Knob's.

Alicekeach · 10/08/2015 20:27

Did Knob and Jess's decree absolute ever come through? Just wondered if his motivation for the hole in the corner wedding was actually bigamy...

MarionHaste · 10/08/2015 20:40

BOOP for Pat querying why Helen would change her name. It happily combined both my favourite MN topics.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 10/08/2015 20:42

Yes, we know the baby isn't his. At least we know the DNA test said it wasn't and we heard Dr Locke doing the test so we know the sample was definitely from Rob.

Yes, we know his decree absolute came through.

Sadly, no bigamy storyline looming!

Thing is with 3-y-o with biscuits at work - it's a farm! It's a farm - children live on farms and grow up on them. They won't be doing that at Berrow Farm, but it doesn't seem that weird to me. (I grew up on a farm.)

Ok it's an industrialised large-scale farm but it's still a farm - Rob has an office, but I bet nobody else does & the whole place smells of cowshit

Probably doesn't smell that much, and anyway, you don't notice if it's there all the time. (I tend to feel a bit homesick at the smell of cow dung these days...)

I thought we'd had the decree absolute, but maybe it was only the nisi. And the results of the DNA test apparently proved it wasn't Rob, but I think quite a few people aren't convinced he didn't manage to fix it somehow.

My mother was always quite insistent on the necessity of having a running away fund, i.e. an account in your own name. Why wasn't Pat bringing up Helen with that sort of idea, rather than only mentioning it now? Can't remember how things went with Greg - if they had a shared bank account then, that would have been a bit of hassle when he died, I'd have thought, and she'd have kept at least some of it separate - not that I think they can have had time to go to a bank to sort it out yet.

Those of you who haven't been listening much lately, might be worth tuning in for Rob episodes lately.

MarionHaste · 10/08/2015 20:55

Did anyone else hear Charlie say to Rob, "You're only human" and immediately picture what that will look like when @ThePlarchers tweet the story?

TheOneWiththeNicestSmile · 10/08/2015 21:07

Ebearhug, I think we're making the same point Grin

BYOSnowman · 10/08/2015 21:31

We heard Jess concede it was a long shot claiming him as the father

peppapissinpig · 10/08/2015 21:33

Guess I just can't work out why Jess backed away so easily

jennyperru · 10/08/2015 21:43

MarionHaste I thought of The Plarchers too! It was bad enough this week with the top of Rob's head missing, but trying to show him as human will be the real challenge.
