I can't resist alliteration Wink

OP posts:

Harrison Burns is doing a show in Edinburgh Fringe just now. Was on R scotland earlier. Janice Forsyth came over all overinfested.

Will Kenton realise his whining has no foundation? The Archers.

minkGrundy · 10/08/2015 16:01

Sorry....Will Kenton realise his whining, like the Bull, has no foundation? The Archers.

ppeatfruit · 10/08/2015 16:04

Is this the end of The Bull? Choose your architect and insurers wisely Kenton.

Will Pip go to Brazil or stay and enjoy a menage a' trois in Tobex's caravan?

Now the good spirit Deb has waved her wand all is calm in the Fairy Dairy land, for the moment!

Gruach · 10/08/2015 16:20

(What's menage a trois in Portuguese?)

Will Pip be getting a Brazilian visa in her passport? Will Bert continue to garden for the nice lady? Close shaves and other encounters in Ambridge ... Needs work.

ErrolTheDragon · 10/08/2015 16:25

Like mink's suggestion - also the 'Cock and Bull'...

As to Lillian - presumably she is liable for 50% of the costs, and will find it somehow, despite being cleaned out of ready money by Matt. She wouldn't whinge to Kenton, but maybe she'll discuss liquidating some of her assets with JD and Brine.

ppeatfruit · 10/08/2015 16:33

Yes I like mink's too. What about "Will Freda's rose be in memory of the Bull as Well?

ppeatfruit · 10/08/2015 16:34

A bit depressing that one Grin sorry Grin

BYOSnowman · 10/08/2015 19:11

Wow Helen is totally nuts

And rob is going down!!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 10/08/2015 19:11

Red flags agogo!

MrsBodieBroadus · 10/08/2015 19:19

Is that your title suggestion BYOS!

firesidechat · 10/08/2015 19:19

Just had to come on here and say "wow, that was quick". I know abusive men show their true colours once married, but it's like a switch has been flipped. It's only going to escalate isn't it?

peppapissinpig · 10/08/2015 19:22

God I know it makes great listening but I hope Hellin comes to her senses before Henry is hurt Hmm

selsigfach · 10/08/2015 19:26

If my husband turned up at my desk with a small child and plate of cookies I'd be thinking he must have had a brain transplant "What are you doing? I'm at work!"
And a dowry?? WTF, I never saw any of the wedding presents we received as that! Pat Archer, total hypocrite.

TheOneWiththeNicestSmile · 10/08/2015 19:28

Charlie's attitude to Helen & Henry was very interesting.

Intended to underline that he's a nice normal human compared with Rob?

Icimoi · 10/08/2015 19:29

The SWs must have been reading that surrendered wives book that was being discussed in the Chat forum recently - there was definitely something in there about taking goodies to your hubbikins at work. Next thing we know, she'll be walking too close to Knob and thanking him for being such a wonderful head of the family.

Gruach · 10/08/2015 19:29

My that flag is big and angry - like Rob. They did seem to be telling us that Helen's going to lose Peggy's money (when Rob disappears with it.)

And I would stake my very best radio on Hazel preventing the village shop from ever re-opening. Susan will have to wear her tabard to make Neil's chilli.

firesidechat · 10/08/2015 19:30

Helen is weird isn't she and I hope this storyline doesn't become too uncomfortable to listen to.

I hate Rob, but I suppose that's the point. The actor does menacing very well.

BYOSnowman · 10/08/2015 19:32

This is bad sw re Helen - they are making her totally ott

I'm assuming when rob gets home from work tomorrow she will have bought a paddle so he can appropriately punish her or whatever perceived crime there is

BitOutOfPractice · 10/08/2015 19:47

I think pat is trying to gently question hellin but not getting far.

I agree, I don't think many people would be impressed by a 3yo with biscuits pitching up at work. I would. Because I'm greedy. And I work from home.

stilllearnin · 10/08/2015 19:48

I missed the money talk thing - I will LA tonight. Its odd because when Knob has a bit of a go at H or H, I think well yes sometimes living with other people does make you cross and sometimes normal people start to take a bad day out on their family. (Luckily you tend to button it before getting cross with others), But that is not really what Knob's EA is about - its the controlling and gaslighting stuff that makes him so grim. I hope the SW dont just make him have a short fuse.

stilllearnin · 10/08/2015 19:49

Also my local rep (which is great) is doing gaslight next season! I saw it there so many times as a teen that I have to take dc!

TheOneWiththeNicestSmile · 10/08/2015 19:58

Thing is with 3-y-o with biscuits at work - it's a farm!

Ok it's an industrialised large-scale farm but it's still a farm - Rob has an office, but I bet nobody else does & the whole place smells of cowshit Grin

It's not like turning up at the office of a captain of industry, & the implication (IMO) was that this often happens. God knows he's taken enough time off popping out to get Henry from nursery!

peppapissinpig · 10/08/2015 20:04

Quite TheOne....hardly a senior trader in the City!!

GypsyFloss · 10/08/2015 20:05

Just caught the last couple of minutes. Blimey Rob sounded uber evil tonight. Is it all kicking off there cos if so I'd better start listening again?

BertrandRussell · 10/08/2015 20:13

God, I feel for Pat! I've spent the summer so far trying to find ways of telling dd that the boy she is falling for is a dick, without alienating her........

Awful.
