I meant to say before, funny how Kate's Mother's Day plans were all about her being the mother. It didn't seem to occur to her that if phoebe isn't there, she could do something special for her mother and grandmother.

Re SOC not once admitting he was wrong - Vanessa Whitburn never did either. Nobody who goes on Feedback ever admits they were wrong about anything. I think when you work for the BBC it's the first exercise in the induction training.

If I was feeling generous I would say the red to halloumi was to poke fun at Kate, but I have a funny feeling they just looked at 'hippy' recipes and forgot they'd made her vegan

They have kind of thrown the 'alternative' book at Kate and I wish they'd stop making her quite such a caricature

Halloumi is a very salty Greek cheese. (I won't kniw the significance until I listen to recorded episodes next week)
