I don't think the lovely Bruce will darken the door of Bridge Farm again. They certainly wouldn't want anything to do with the snivelling brat of another man, Bruce has made his feelings abundantly clear. I do hope Henry will tell the police and PatnTone about his Easter Eggs and the fate of his rabbit.

Though, to be serious, I am genuinely curious. I'm prepared to live with the insufferable boredom of fictional court procedure* as long as they make a proper effort with the village end of the story.

Once, on the way out of court my colleague and I bumped into a fireman, there for another case, and somehow got talking about "London's Burning". (It was a lifetime ago.) Poor man said he couldn't stand the series because they got so much wrong. My DM's the same with Casualty.)

(Sorry - the point was that said fireman was thrilled to be in a court because he devoured crime series on TV and was hopeful that it would all be exactly the same in RL.)

But I really quail at the thought of months of court stuff. Last night is the first in ages I just didn't listen even though it was on in the room next door and even though I knew for sure it wouldn't be endless banging on about cake and/or animals. I feel I might be over this for a while.
