OK, this was posted on another site on January 1st 2014

'Based upon a letter in the DM from a reader who alleged they had overheard "an obnoxiously loud member of TA production team" in a Birmingham restaurant. Believe it at your peril.

Rob is revealed to be homophobic.
Jill will move into Brookfield.
The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

Peggy's probably peed off because Auntie cardboard and Jim decide to move in together Grin (the reason why Jazzer isn't welcome anymore Grin )

Vango · 28/04/2016 15:32

I reckon Peggy's going to tell Pat and Tony what she thinks of them. Not in a good way. Remember all the fuss about the Will first time round? And the fact that she only changed her mind because she thought she was going to lose Tony? She's always been dismissive of them both and is totally on Rob's side. For now. She's going to blame them for 'the way Helen's turned out'.

Vango · 28/04/2016 15:58

She's going to bang on about the fact that if she'd stuck to her original plan Rob and Helen would be settled in their own home, he wouldn't have had so much stress, wouldn't have had to give up his job etc etc .

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 28/04/2016 16:01

Not really - she was going to leave The Lodge to Helen in her will, not hand it over to her immediately. But yes, she is perfectly capable of ranting away about why Helen has turned out the way she has.

AugustaFinkNottle · 28/04/2016 16:07

Of course Knob might go to her for more money, trying to insinuate she's morally obligated because of what her granddaughter did. She's usually pretty canny about money (apart from the original £10K dowry, that is), so it might just cause her to wake up.

Vango · 28/04/2016 16:34

I know Peggy intended that Helen would inherit the Lodge but I still think Peggy will suggest that once pregnant, they probably would have come to some kind of arrangement (let's face it, there seems to be room aplenty at Home Farm) and I think she'll blame T&P for her inability to help out as she would have liked. Rob's been grooming her since the start. Only the week before the stabbing she was going on about how lucky H was to have him. She's going to let rip at her failure of a son.

Vango · 28/04/2016 16:36

And I don't think P will be surprised that R & H might now be struggling for money. Poor Rob gave up his job to look after her granddaughter after all! She'll be only too willing to help him I'm sure. (Ps I don't think any of this myself - I think it's what Peggy thinks!)

BoreOfWhabylon · 28/04/2016 18:25

I actually think it more likely that Peggy will get the cold shoulder from Arse and Knob and will flip when she realises they have got Henwee and don't intend to share him.

She is a matriarch, after all, and don't think she'll take too kindly to her great grandson being snatched.

That's what I'm hoping, Bore. I wish I had more confidence that this will all turn out even a little bit as I would like it to. Nothing that's happened since 3rd April in the HelRob storyline has done, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 01/05/2016 12:27

DadDadDad · 03/05/2016 13:07

Well, bang goes my entry on the sweepstakes thread guessing a 6 May birth! Sad

MrsArthurShappey · 03/05/2016 14:43

Fri 20th May ..., and Toby launches a new venture.

Another new venture?

Stickerrocks · 03/05/2016 19:02

Friday 13th (my DB's birthday) doesn't look hopeful either....

Thanks Gasp. I was just popping in to type up the Radio Times entry, but you saved me a job.

ppeatfruit · 04/05/2016 16:14

I enjoyed the Lil and Miranda spar though, Lil 'l definitely get her own back. I prophesied a cat fight didn't I?

EasyToEatTiger · 04/05/2016 18:39

If anything can go wrong for the BF Archers, it will. And it will keep going wrong. On and on and on. Thomas Hardy was bad enough. Some people think Emile Zola has a comedy about it. TA heaps misery on top of misery. Whatever light at the end of the tunnel will only be the lights of the oncoming train. I'm sure everyone else will have their problems. It seems that whatever happens to anyone else, there is still an elephant in the room. Or is this just the way of The Archers?

On a brighter note, when is the fragrant Lynda going to realise the bed in the shepherd's hut can hold little more than a bucket of wallpaper paste?

Vango · 06/05/2016 13:14

I do love the way the spoilers are referring to Helen's 'newborn'. I'm still convinced it's a girl and Rob will not be happy! Also convinced Peggy will take Rob's side.

ppeatfruit · 06/05/2016 13:20

A baby girl with a penis then Vango ? Grin They've seen on the scans more than once.

BYOSnowman · 06/05/2016 13:22

The maybe the baby will come out and declare he is a girl because he says so and Helen will be compelled to dress him in pink babygros

Vango · 06/05/2016 13:28

But didn't they have a very early private scan to find out the gender? I accidentally found out that I was having a boy (read my notes post amnio) - I said nothing to anyone and it was never mentioned at subsequent scans (nor could I have worked it out from the images on screen). I remain convinced that I'm right Grin

ppeatfruit · 06/05/2016 13:33

They had a more recent one too Vango which reiterated the first. I suppose she\he could be transexual .

ppeatfruit · 06/05/2016 13:33

Now that would really please knob.

In that article he claims that Shula is the audience as he wants to shake things up

He can fuck right off - I am nowhere near Shula in age, character or dullness thank you very much
