OK, this was posted on another site on January 1st 2014

'Based upon a letter in the DM from a reader who alleged they had overheard "an obnoxiously loud member of TA production team" in a Birmingham restaurant. Believe it at your peril.

Rob is revealed to be homophobic.
Jill will move into Brookfield.
The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

In fact - why isn't there a teacher residing (with a better paid partner) in Ambridge? Half the posters on MN seem to be teachers ...

PseudoBadger · 03/04/2016 16:25

Different bodies investigate those things. So the HSE do farming accidents, the local authority EHOs do the E. coli stuff. There are regs defining who (between the HSE and the LA) enforce which type of premises for health and safety. The LA does all food safety enforcement.

Teachers often flock together. When I lived on a new build estate outside a northern mining village, well over half of the neighbours were teachers (including ex-h and me) with a lot of the rest being police and nurses. I think because Ambridge doesn't have a large stock of relatively cheap relatively nice houses, the teachers must live out of town.

Marchate · 03/04/2016 17:44

Kathy was a Home Economics teacher

Colabottle10 · 03/04/2016 18:15

Tonight's looks interesting.

I see Rob's in the cast for 8th April. Hmmmm.

WipsGlitter · 03/04/2016 19:55

augusta I'm relieved he is. Killing him would have been a shit ending.

Gruach · 03/04/2016 19:57

Oh?

Gruach · 03/04/2016 19:58

So I'll be triple checking exactly which TA thread I'm on?

glowfrog · 03/04/2016 20:06

Fingers crossed he is indeed alive.... Poor Henry. What a mess. So unnecessary.

BoreOfWhabylon · 03/04/2016 20:13

Hmmm...

"Kirsty is called to action" and "tested to her limits"

She's going to resuscitate him.

Peggy spots something unusual

Robs foot sticking out of the patio?

Vango · 03/04/2016 20:48

Helen encounters a new face. The police? A lawyer?

Stickerrocks · 03/04/2016 21:04

Don't raise your hopes Augusta. That probably covers the omnibus next Sunday as well as tonight.

Stickerrocks · 03/04/2016 21:06

Pat berates Tom - she's going to want to know why he didn't tell her he was concerned.

I think Kirsty being tested is working out how she can get Helen out of this mess.

KingscoteStaff · 03/04/2016 21:15

Have you spotted Anna Tregorran on the next couple of cast lists?

And Joanne Madeley - does she sound like a lawyer?

Vango · 03/04/2016 21:24

Who's Dominic Farrell?

Stickerrocks · 03/04/2016 21:36

We're going to have lawyers and detectives coming to Ambridge as this is too hot for Harrison to handle.

GypsyFl0ss · 03/04/2016 21:43

Maybe they can find Stefan's body, the missing bunting and biscuit tin money at the same time Grin

AugustaFinkNottle · 03/04/2016 22:09

I don't think it's the full week's cast list, Sticker, it seems to be the list specifically for the 8th - it's the one Bore linked above.

Stickerrocks · 03/04/2016 22:12

Hopeful....

firesidechat · 03/04/2016 22:25

Does it matter whether he's alive or dead? They still made Helen the criminal who stabs her saintly husband. It's just wrong.

Vango · 03/04/2016 22:43

I guess we can only hope that she hasn't actually stabbed him. She thinks she has, but maybe he knocked himself out falling over after chasing Henry back up the stairs.

glowfrog · 03/04/2016 22:45

Fireside can't speak for others but I'm aware I'm clutching at straws - Rob alive would be the least worst outcome in many ways.

Though I did think a while back that it would be "hilarious" if she killed.hurt him and got off on grounds of diminished responsibility, given all the setting up he's done.

Another really terrible thing about the way they have escalated this is how will they handle the characters coming back from that?? Helen, Henry, all the extended family, really.

AugustaFinkNottle · 04/04/2016 01:15

They're quite economical with those cast lists, aren't they? Jess wasn't named at all, and the week after next is allegedly a Titchener-free zone, which seems unlikely on the face of it.
