OK, this was posted on another site on January 1st 2014

'Based upon a letter in the DM from a reader who alleged they had overheard "an obnoxiously loud member of TA production team" in a Birmingham restaurant. Believe it at your peril.

Rob is revealed to be homophobic.
Jill will move into Brookfield.
The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

Does anyone know if Rob and Helen rent Blossom Hill Cottage or did Peggy already give it to Helen. Similarly, Pat and Tony have handed over to Helen and Tom but do they now own part of Bridge Farm and associated enterprises.

I wonder what Rob is going to claim as his when push comes to shove?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 18/03/2016 12:32

Usha owns Blossom Hill Cottage and rents it to Rob. She bought it from Peggy. Peggy was going to leave The Lodge (where she lives) to Helen, but when she changed her will it seems that may not now be happening.

VitaSackvileVest · 18/03/2016 12:48

Thanks Flowers meant to post on other thread!

PseudoBadger · 18/03/2016 12:59

5th is my birthday!

Gruach · 18/03/2016 19:27

Which you'll forever share with SOK! Joint barn dance on the thread every year.

Oh, oh! Could it possibly be Brenda in the shop on the 8th? I know it's unlikely. Tom's probably thinking about Kirsty. Would it be SOK?

Vango · 18/03/2016 20:23

The name of the unexpected visitor seems to be in the cast list for 8 April!

BoreOfWhabylon · 18/03/2016 20:31

Thanks Vango!

Oh my!

Thank you. Interesting times ahead.

Marchate · 18/03/2016 20:37

Maybe he comes to fetch his wife home. As she did for her DIL

BYOSnowman · 18/03/2016 20:40

That's hilarious - I wonder if it is a bit of typecasting (if it is the same actor I'm thinking of who seems to specialise in playing nazis)

ElementaryMyDear · 18/03/2016 21:28

I was just thinking that that actor usually plays pretty sinister types. I'm not sure if I can cope with three manipulative abusive members of the same family.

BYOSnowman · 18/03/2016 21:30

Maybe he is trying to throw off those shackles and will end up being Helens saviour because he has gone through the same for many years

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 18/03/2016 21:37

Nice optimistic approach there, BYOS! Hmmm.

BYOSnowman · 18/03/2016 21:40

And equal opportunities - it will show that both men and women can be victims. This satisfying the daily mail comment writers

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 18/03/2016 23:26

Oh goodness - he's going to be really foul, isn't he?

glowfrog · 19/03/2016 06:08

If he's really foul, maybe it will push Rob to be even more horrible to Helen... :-( but maybe that will help her leave?

BoreOfWhabylon · 19/03/2016 12:43

He might not be foul though

He might have had a lifetime of being bullied and controlled by Arsula and thus be supportive of Hellin as he can see what's happening.

Although his nazi history does make that unlikely Grin

De-lurking to ask is it ok to post the Daily Mail's preview of what is ahead this week?

BYOSnowman · 19/03/2016 13:44

Yes! This thread is for spoilers - on the other thread spoilers are verboten

gonegrey56 · 19/03/2016 13:49

Key bit is " there's trouble at Ursula's leaving party, where Henry unwittingly creates a crisis. Feisty Kirsty mounts another rescue bid, and finally Helen - driven to the edge - tries to get a grip".

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/03/2016 13:51

Ooooooooh! Well, that was very well worth delurking for, gonegrey! Thanks, a glimmer of hope at last.

BoreOfWhabylon · 19/03/2016 13:51

Hurrah! What date s the Leaving Party please?

OP posts:
glowfrog · 19/03/2016 13:53

Ursula is getting a leaving party?? WTF?

I know I'll be happy when she goes but I wouldn't have the party until afterwards.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/03/2016 13:54

Based on the RT spoilers, my money's on Thursday for the party.

gonegrey56 · 19/03/2016 13:54

24 March I think
